We visited the Shrimp Landing Seafood restaurant / trailer or truck, in the spring of 2025. It is basically an outdoor eatery being served out of a trailer. The picnic tables gave it a rustic pier feel. It was nice having a meal out in nature, watching the water and birds.
The folks who run this eatery were friendly and nice folks. The food itself was pretty good at an arguably fair price. Prices of course are subject to different peoples opinions. Although we found the menu to be very limited. I do like that they have a different special option for each day of the week.
You should be aware that you either take out this food or you can choose the option to eat on location at one of the tables. There are some umbrella shades. But you are out in the elements, which means hot sun, rain, wind, etc. But in nice weather, it was an enjoyable visit. I probably would not elect to sit and eat in the summer sun when the temperature runs in the 90’s. But that’s just me.
They say that they can get pretty busy in the afternoon. We visited early on a Saturday to avoid this, and it worked out well for us. But it was getting pretty busy between 12:30-1PM. So maybe plan ahead. They had one unisex restroom available for folks needs.
All in all it was a decent meal on what was a nice day for us. Yes we were fortunate having nice weather. Yes we will probably return again. But we’re too far away just to pop in. So for us it would be pre-planed ahead of time and definitely assuring reasonable weather circumstances.

Pleasant surprise looking for a bite on the way back from the beach. Had the blackened fish tacos, burger, chicken tenders, with fries and hush puppies. Everything cooked well, I especially enjoyed the tacos, well-seasoned. It was an extra treat to watch the fisherman come back in with their catches and feed the pelicans the scraps

We loved sitting outside watching the shrimping boats on the water; meeting the owner; taking in the picturesque Florida setting; and eating the best fresh seafood. We ordered the Friday fish and chips special and a pound of shrimp. It was more than we could eat. Generous portions, great flavours, friendly service. Highly recommended. We couldn’t resist taking pictures of the egret and pelicans. It was a perfect finish to our visit to see the manatees at Silver Spring park.

Seafood truck kitchen here served delicious blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich. The airboat ride we reserved (BlownAwayAirboats.com) launched from here and was awesome. Saw a bald eagle & nest and 3 dolphins cavorted around the boat for 10 minutes. Never saw so many pelicans in one place waiting to feed off the fish cull from sport fishing charter boats catches.

So glad we stopped by! We had the smoked fish dip (highly recommend) smoked wings (tasted like mini turkey legs) shrimp(really tasty) and then the best blackened fish tacos I’ve ever had.

The food is AMAZING!!! You can watch as boats come in and leave. Sometimes boaters are taking care of their catch for the day.
You can watch the pelicans while your food cooks.

Servings were huge, fresh, & delicious. My husband & daughter split the fried shrimp & fries basket. The shrimp were breaded, seasoned, & cooked to perfection. My other daughter & I shared the fish tacos. They were delicious except I don't care for cheese on my fish. Next time I'd order without then I'd call them near perfect! Cute eating area that smells like a fishing dock. If we ever find ourselves in Crystal River again, we will be back!
