This place never fails me during my travels to and from Anchorage! The prices are very reasonable, the food is always delicious with great portions, and the service is good. Sometimes they are more slow (during peak hours), but they’ve never neglected me or had bad service like some of the other restaurants here in the airport. The homesteader isn’t pictured but it’s delicious and the bacon is very good here as well!

For an airport dining experience, they did a phenomenal job. I wasn’t really in a hurry, but the service was fast and efficient. You pay right away so as soon as you’re done with your meal you can leave.

My son who’s living in Alaska was right about the 49th State Brewery burger. It’s was so good. They serve their fries with a dipping sauce that is 🔥. It’s paired well with their 907 Pale Ale. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have the Irish For Hazy IPA, but the 907 was very good.

Sorry prepared food pictures. I was too eager to dig in. Just visualize a big juicy burger with melted cheddar and along with a nice size serving of fries.

Stopped by for a quick snack before the flight and replace it my surprised by a interacting service, good beer (especially the Epicenter) and nice view over the runway. The portions, however, slightly disappointed, especially calamari were for one bite.
Check the bill as you might get overcharged for your order and that’s precisely what happened to us.
Would recommend you to try the hush puppies with the cranberry sauce, tasted very unique. Septfest sausage on sauerkraut was pretty interesting However, I got a charged for two rather than half. Reuben rolled were nothing to impress.

Pretty cool view while you are eating. We came here with only 15 mins to spare, and they got us in and out. The food was actually cheap and good. The portion was very big. I forgot to take a picture of the food right when it came out so here is a pic of half eating Yukon omelet and gravy and biscuit.

Mediocre food and terrible service. Almost 10 minutes after being seated, we still hadn't seen our waitress or had our drink order taken. We had been seated for 40 minutes before we received our order, and our entrees arrived before the appetizer (which we had to point out). Had to ask for Ketchup twice, and fries were cold by the time we got it.

As for the food, the salmon on the salmon sandwich was overcooked to the point it literally left dry salmon flakes on my plate when I cut it in half. As you can tell from the picture, it was also under-sized given the size of the bun. The Buffalo chicken salad had way too much buffalo sauce on the chicken. The reuben rolls were good and probably the only do-again.

Food tasted great, and came hot and freshly made. My main problem was that it took a little bit, which didn't leave us time to eat before we got on the plane. Not a huge deal. Overall still a good place to grab food. They had vegetarian options as well which was nice.

The shrimp/crab hush puppies are bomb.
Also got the steak and stout pocket because it was only $15, so good.
