We bought silver springs chicken steaks at Landis supermarket
in Perkasie Pa.
the steaks contained slivered chicken bones that my wife chocked on, I'm not sure what to do about this YET.

Stayed overnight despite 10 no parking signs nobody said anything. Appointment at 7am got to dock at 7.40 because another driver was here. Check in front office and wait for a minion. Backing is a little tight.

Usually had no issues with the beef ones, but the last box wasn't good, looked like it had been defrosted and was refrozen, the steaks were all messed up, all different which ways, not like it usually was, contacted them & even sent pictures of what it was like, but not heard anything from them in this matter... wish I could post the pics on here too

I have been closely linked to the food industry for 70 years and I can honestly say that the Silver Springs Farm 100% beef sandwich steaks are the most disgusting food I have ever tried to eat. After a few minutes of cooking it I threw it away, I wouldn't even give it to my dogs and they will eat almost anything.
I don't doubt that it is 100% from a cow but what is it ? Mostly fat, ground bone, who knows? What it isn't is beef meat. Their website shows photos of thinly sliced real meat with veins of fat running through it. In reality, it is an off-white mush that stinks when cooked. If you have ever started to cook a steak that has been in the fridge for too long, at least the fat still smells of beef albeit a little off, this stuff smells nothing like beef, it is truly disgusting. We bought it frozen and kept it in our freezer for 5 days before defrosting it for 5 hours at room temperature. I can't get the stink of it out of my home. Don't buy this fraudulent excuse for beef you won't like it

The chopped steak was absolutely VILE and DISGUSTING. Basically prison food. No ingredients listed on the box, can only assume these "100% beef" steaks are ground and flattened beef trimmings, like butts, lips, intestines, you get the gist. The smell while cooking was absolutely putrid, unlike any other "beef" I've ever cooked. Smelled like roadkill marinated in porta potty. The cats & dogs wouldn't even eat it which says it all.

Weird set up on the dock doors for delivery, kind of wonky in a road truck. Workers were polite, that's all. Fairly quick unload, 45 minutes on 6 pallets.
