Well, it was low 40*sC / 110*F the 1st 2 wks. of Oct. I got out for 3/4 hr. Walks @ 6:30am, too hot to go longer - so it wasn’t ideal, but we made it work. We had booked last Feb., but had to change & Oct. was it - hotter than usual at this time. |We were in a small home on the West Clubhouse side. There’s sandy desert area that divides the East & West clubhouse. Pools in both areas. The cafe & other amenities weren’t available when we were there .. still bit too early. The East side has fitness & strength train rooms. The West has really good laundry facilities. ||The community is nice, it’s not for us, we’d prefer closer in town so we can each do our own thing during day & meet up in Eve. There’s nothing really in the community - unless you like pickleball & tennis - which is perfect if that’s what you’re looking for. My husband golfs & I love to hike & be active. It’s about 20 min. in to town, depending where going. Was told Joshua Tree Park is about an hr. away - too hot. ||In Winter mos. it would be easy to be more active within the community, however not enough to do that interests me & walking in the area, although lovely - becomes boring, not to mention very flat.||The pools & hot tubs are lovely, we only went in the West Clubhouse ones each afternoon. One afternoon. There were young kids in the Serenity pool which isn’t too serene - they should be in the family pool op at East clubhouse. Generally the water pools were a lovely respite. |The community seems well maintained, lots of workers always keeping it up. Many double & triple wide homes/lots with year long, permanent residents it seems. |All in all, it worked to take our minds off home, but glad to be out of the heat…

Beautiful resort! Love the pools and hot tubs, and love that there are a lot of activities to do! The people in the community are wonderful too!
I would like to express a thank you in particular to Sherry, who helped us with a situation. Her kindness and compassion are an asset to the resort.

Pools close at 11pm wish it was open all night like Miracle Hot Springs but the rooms are way better than Miracle. I found the whole resort clean and huge. There are 2 clubhouse with mineral hot spring pools. The clubhouse restrooms got updated and are spacious and easy to shower and change in.

Rented a deluxe RV spot for our rented travel trailer....19'. Plenty of room, full hookups....electric 50/30/20 Amp outlets. Water w/ 2 faucets. Black/grey hose hookups. Adventures tomorrow, who knows what.

I love Sky Valley Resort. A great place to vacation and live year-round. June, July, August and September is hot hot hot, but from October through May it’s amazing. Tons of amenities, events and activities. I personally live here year round. 💕

Been coming there for more than 10 years. The last few seasons, the “hot mineral” pools have been cold. Wondering if it’s still mineral hot spring water.

As soon as we first entered the resort just to look around, we felt welcomed. We had no intention of staying at the resort (we were in our camper), and were thinking of this location for a future trip. We liked it so much, we changed our trip, cutting out travel north to New Mexico and Colorado, and booked an RV pad at Sky Valley Resort for 2 weeks instead. ||We had one of the elite (I think it was called) RV sites nestled on a street with homes. That was excellent because it gave us a wind break (when windy) and there were trees close by. Enough so that the beautiful bird song woke us each morning. The site was level (gravel) with a concrete and turf pad. ||The mineral pools were outstanding and the people were so friendly. We learned about the - all within the resort - weekly farmers market, homemade pizza, chef meals, live music, pickleball, tennis, shuffleboard, and more. ||While I think this resort is more geared to folks owning and renting homes in the resort than it is to RVs, fully contained RVs that provide their own shade, are a great fit. You just can’t beat the amenities that come with staying here. ||We loved this place so much that we bought a home there before we left. And in that short time we met people that we continue to stay in contact with, planning our arrivals again in the fall.

A little bit far forom the towns And about 30 min from palmsprings has lots of pools with natural water (worm or cold) not lots of bike trails outside the resort
