I never leave reviews no matter how bad my experience because I always want to support small businesses but for this I just had to. I had had work done on my septic which required repaving of my driveway. I posted on Nextdoor and this company was recommended so I called to get an estimate. He gave the quote and I was okay with the number so accepted. I then called for a quote to clear the leaves on my front lawn. He gave a quote on the phone after visiting my property for leaves clearing at $750 which I thought was expensive. He said the cost was attributed to the locations that take leaves to which I said he could put on the extra space at the back of the house so we were able to negotiate lower to $500. When he came to complete the work, he said there were more leaves than he thought and now the cost was $850. I did not expect that but I figured this happens sometimes. Now today when I was out of my home, he says he’s done but he can come back to clear the other half of the front lawn for an additional fee at which point I started to believe that I am getting scammed. I say that I will not pay until everything is completed (leaf and tree clearing and driveway paving) as is logical. His response was that he would call the police on me! I don’t understand what is going on at this point and I repeat that just yesterday he said it was $850 and I even sent the screenshot of HIS OWN TEXT saying so. He then changed the price again to now the work is $160/hour! I don’t know how people can run a business this way but I think it’s unacceptable.

Extremely professional and timely. They were thorough and efficient and made sure the job was done cleanly and correctly before even talking money. Old school hospitality and know how. Prices are beyond fair!

We’re brand new customers and it took a bit of reminding that we wanted our sidewalk shoveled but they were willing to come back and do it. We appreciate that the plowing always happens right after the snowfall is finished. Really happy with Sleeping Porch.

I have hired George for various projects and he always has done a wonderful job. The most recent job was for a broken up sidewalk. He repaired and replaced bluestones and powerwashed it.
It now looks beautiful! Excellent work!

George and his team are great!! So far they have done a full property clean up, fixed my irrigation, ground out a massive stump, tore out a ton of old trees and bushes, planted replacement hedges and a large tree! He is quick to respond, gets the job done quickly while doing great work, and reasonable prices! They even stayed well into the night to finish one of the projects, just so they didn’t have to charge for another day!
