Sneeds is the perfect nursery for all of your planting and gifting needs! They have great assortment of plants year around as well as a robust selection of seasonal plants this time of year! They currently have a great selection of trees and poinsettias! The shop has so many great gifts for any type of person whether or not gardening is your thing!

If you want healthy plants, go to Sneed’s. They are not the cheapest plants you will find around town, but they are easily the most robust and best cared for. Just walk around the grounds and you will see multiple staff members tending to individual plants with an attention and care that I give my own garden. Sneed’s is not a big box store that orders from giant plant factories. These are real plant people who clearly know what they are doing and love to do it. I’m done wasting my money on stressed out plants at other places. Sneed’s is the only nursery I need.

My god! What a joy this nursery is. I cannot rave enough about this lovely place. It is very seldom that you have the opportunity to find a place that has it ALL. Such a wonderful, loving, generous and caring team of people, great products, all in one place. First of all, you feel welcomed since the moment you lay a foot in their parking lot, there's a person with a lovely smile welcoming you, then you get out of your car and you have the friendliest and generous staff helping you choose the most lovely, healthy and great looking plants, trees and shrubs, answering any questions you may have... On top of this, they have several cute buildings where you can find everything you need for your gardening needs. Great looking chickens roaming around, a beautiful chubby cat hanging out with customers and if this is not enough, you have a fairy cottage where you can find the most friendly cashiers and the cutest products...and don't forget the floral section!!! Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!!
This place has it all!! My daughter and i drove almost an hour each way to get here and we were both blown away by how wonderful this place is in every possible way. I got some fruit trees, and I was surprised to find a great variety, got a fig, but not just the most common ones that you can find anywhere, they had more than 5 different varieties. A bonsai section, exotic trees, ferns, peonies, blueberries, gardenias, camellias, pansies, natives, herbs, veggies, apples, magnolias, figs, pears, nuts, garden statues, you name it, they have it!!! I don't know who the owner is, but I hope that you treasure your staff because they are the nicest people. I have been in many places and I have never come across a place like this. Sneed's for me is the very BEST nursery, not only because of the quality of their products, the knowledgeable of their staff, the friendliness of each and every person that works here, but because they thought of everything to make your experience an unforgettable one. From the moment you arrive, to the moment you leave, you feel valued, respected and wanted... you feel not in a business but at home, among friends and family.
Congratulations to each and everyone that works in this place 👏 ❤️ 😊 . Sneed's is without any doubt, the BEST nursery in the whole state of Virginia.

Love this place! Dog friendly with the cutest pots and plants! It has such an inviting vibe and I love their location. They are fully decorated for Christmas too! It's so cute!

They lost a customer for life. Long story short; I bought two shrubs from them last year. I was told that if anything happened to the shrubs within a years time that I could get a free replacement. All I had to do was bring back the dead shrub and my receipt. I went back today with one dead shrub. I was told that they couldn't help me because the warranty is only for 6 months. I tried to explain that I was told differently when I made the purchase. The manager didn't care what her employees told me and sent me on my way. I would think twice before spending money here because where I'm from, your word matters, and I don't do business where I can't trust their word. You lost a customer over a shrub. Great management!
You either stand by your word or you don't. I'm not accepting half-measures because of your mistake. You're right, your employees should know. Thank you for making that my problem.

If you're looking for native plants, they're worth a visit. I was looking for plants specifically native to central VA, and the employee there was so knowledgeable. The staff is friendly and they have a great selection.

Yesterday I visited Sneed's Nursery again after taking a break during the pandemic. It offers a wonderful array of high quality plants and a lot of certified organic herbs, tomatoes, cantaloupe and other vegetables for home gardening. The staff is very helpful, and I highly recommend this beautiful garden center to all my friends and residential real estate clients!

I stopped by Sneeds Nurserytoday, and I have to say it was so cute and made me feel like I stepped into a Santas Workshop... the parking lot was full of families, I walked past a gazebo, and Christmas trees were being cut and strapped to cars, wreaths, and plants everywhere. But... when I walked in that workshop, I was like, Wow! There's literally Christmas stuff everywhere. It's like a beautiful wonderland of gifts and decoration.
I got my beautiful poinsettia, they let you choose the color, and naturally I chose my favorite color, Red.
This was fun, and I love plants so I was greeted to get a new addition for the holidays
