I have had the pleasure of picking up a Something Good Organics farm box for at least 6 years. I love that we can support our local farmers, eat healthier, and already have a head start when it comes to meal planning for the week. Their farm box has enabled us to try some new veggies, and we are so grateful to have in-season locally grown produce year-round.

We know first hand the challenges of farming and the will of mother nature from a past life which gives us an even greater appreciation of the goodness that goes into the CSA boxes we receive from Something Good Organics. It feels right to support a local farming family but believe me the benefits are ALL ours. Both the flavors and nutrients are far superior to other produce. I am so happy we made this commitment and encourage you to for your own health and the health of our world. I still supplement at farmer’s market but love having the bulk of my seasonal produce delivered in my share.

I am so grateful for this farm -- we've been subscribed for the weekly CSA boxes since 2017 and it has been amazing. I never knew "ordinary" vegetables like broccoli or lettuce could taste so good! Not to mention (oops I'm about to mention some of them...) the excellent out-of-the-ordinary produce like kohlrabi, romanesco, delicata squash, fresh basil, heirloom tomatoes, canary melons, sunflower sprouts.
That is why one of our friends who is a cooking enthusiast comes from Carpinteria to SB every week to pick up his weekly CSA box.

Fresh, seasonal, local produce delivered weekly to our school. Can't beat it–the taste, convenience, and comfort knowing our food was grown organically "in our backyard." SGO provides a sweet blog each week with simple recipes to inspire weekly meals. I love it, my kids love it, hope you try them out!

I’ve had CSAs all over the world for the last 15 years. Something Good Organic’s is truly the best I’ve ever had. A wonderful variety, incredibly fresh. Thank you, Something Good!

For the past two months, my friend and I have received a subscription of a large share box from Something Good Organics. We have the box sent to UCSB, to avoid paying extra for delivery fees (we're poor grad students). The quality of produce is consistently fresh and amazingly delicious. Every week, we receive a panoply of fresh veg and a comparatively smaller portion of fruit. A fruit expansion subscription is also an option. Common staples are carrots, kale, tangerines or apples, cabbage, and some sort of lettuce. The non-staple items are always a joy to behold when one opens the box---it's like Christmas and opening presents, except it happens every week! For example, this week we received avocados. Sometimes we get various types of squash, beets (don't chuck the leaves, you can eat them), or berries.

I'll end this review with perhaps the most important point: subscribing to this farmshare has made me healthier, and helped reduce weekly grocery costs. By sharing with my friend, I pay 17.50 a week for a huge amount of fresh vegetables. And because I'm incapable of wasting food, I'm forced to eat a massive amount of fresh organic veggies every week before the next box arrives. Finally, it makes me feel so so so good to support local agriculture.

I've attached a photo of a gigantic spaghetti squash I received from one of the boxes. I baked and stuffed it with cheese, carrots (also from the box), and some mushrooms. It was really really good.

We’ve been getting their Farm Box on and off for years. It’s the best one in the area that we’ve tried. We feel lucky we’re able to access this local, freshly-picked fruit and veg.
