Bill Hamilton was awesome, he worked with me for weeks to get my design at the Ocean Cay HOA just right. Then he and his crew arrived early and placed our plants and rocks and instructed my volunteers about planting. Would be my privilege to purchase from them again.

Holy moly, this place is amazing! There is so many plants and everything looked happy and healthy. While there I asked a few different questions and everyone I talked to was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The native section is my favorite. I saw several hard to find FL native plants. I will definitely be returning!

Okay, so I'm a plant nut, but this is one of my favorite places in St Augustine. Everything is very well organized here, the place is well-kept and they have a huge variety of things. It can be fun here to walk through the property and get ideas or learn of something you'd never heard of before. You can't help but leave here feeling a little better about life.

I think they must do a fair amount of inventory turnover and have staff that they dedicate to keeping plants looking fresh. I've never seen anything here that I thought I'd have to take home and rehabilitate. While they don't have the biggest selection I've ever seen, there are always great opportunities and I've never left without getting what I wanted or a next best substitute.

The staff here are always very helpful as well. I was in just a couple of weeks ago looking for plants for a very light-limited area and I wanted something other than my normal go-to options. The young lady there guided me through multiple different options and explained the ups/downs of each, and I left with a couple of Pothos varieties that are doing very well.

The staff here are super friendly/helpful/knowledgeable. The inventory is laid out well and the flow is nice and pleasant as you walk through to look. You aren't bumping in to things and you can get to everything you see to examine the items for purchase. Very peaceful place and you don't feel like the staff is trying to pressure you in to buying things.

I loved this place! We are from Ohio, and don't have the same plant selection available down here. I wanted a Majesty/Cat Palm and the staff helped us find it right away. They were super friendly and helpful. Will return the next time we're in Florida!

The service here was amazing! Pretty much everyone who crossed our path as we browsed asked if we were OK or if we needed anything 🙂 they had an amazing selection of indoor plants and they were all very knowledgeable about the plants. We got 4 new babies and they even provided us with some hanging planters so our pets don't mess with them. Love this nursery!

I had the most amazing experience with Southern Horticulture. I called a few weeks ago and the lady that answered was super helpful. Because of her, I decided to go to Southern Horticulture to buy my plants for my shade memorial garden. When I arrived a lady asked if I needed help, I said yes, very much. She walked me to the shade plants, helped me know what would go well with my hostas and got me a cart for my purchases. At checkout a second lady was super helpful and double checked my choices for me and gave me tips for fertilizer and insecticide options. They are a small family run business and I'm happy to support them each time I need plants in the future.

I just love everything about this nusery. The staff is kind and knowledgable no matter how silly you think your question is. I bought my birthday present (water fountain) from there an getting it setup and delivered was easy. Even when I was having some issues with it, they came back out and helped! I will always shop there first!
