I ordered gravel but couldn't be there for the delivery so I put a note on My trash bin and put it where I wanted the gravel dropped. The driver put it exactly where I wanted and even put my trash bin back next to the others. He also called me when he was on his way and even called me to tell me it was delivered. Thanks so much for going out of your way!!!!

Came in on 4/2 about 10 minutes to closing time. Pulled in, started looking (we knew what we wanted) and were going to be fast. We were never greeted, so we started moving trees to the isle we wanted to buy. About 15 minutes later, someone came over and said "Were closed, it's 4:00".
We said we wanted to buy these trees, he said, "it's after 4, we want to go home". I said, "You don't want to sell these trees to me?" He says, "no, come back tomorrow, were open 7-4." We tell him we're from out of town and he says, "sorry, come back tomorrow" and proceeds to walk off.
We had approx $600 worth of trees picked out and the sale would have taken maybe 15 more minutes to cash out and load. But apparently Star Nursey doesn't value customer service or sales enough to accommodate a little bit of extra time. Which is very disappointing because they have a wide selection of trees that are reasonably priced.

I have seen a number of references to Star Nursery in this group. I am incredibly frustrated with them. They will not take responsibilty for damaged caused to my brand new car by one of their landscape truck driving on S-93 in AZ. The truck was spewing granite all over the roaway and hit my car at least a dozen times. Multiple chips in the windsheild and paint chips. I tried calling the local office to get them to tell the guy to get off the road -- I wasn't the only one being pelted. I was referred to their corporate office. The office mgr took all the information and said she would send the info to the appropriate people. Their response was to have their lawyer send me a letter denying all responsiblity and telling me not to contact them again. I have photos and videos and licence number of truck and now have to pursue legal action to get them to take responsibility. I don't want to make an insurance claim on my policy..I have to pay a deductible and it impacts my furture rates. Why can't business owners be responsible for their accidents. I hope you take this into consideration next time you go there--because they try to cheat people by threatening them with lawyer letters.

I have never been more impressed with one employee more than I am with Lori there at the lake Havasu location. I have many friends that have gone to that nursery and more than a couple have recommended to deal with her. When I go, I did, and she went over and above, and actually cared about what she was doing. Very focused and full of great advice and my yard looks amazing now. I will attach pictures when I’m all done. I heard she will be leaving soon and that is too bad because she was so well liked. She seems to have many many many years in the nursery industry,

Honestly such amazing service. I needed 24 tons for the job. And the driver dropped it perfectly in the front yard. And he did a delivery in the back yard, which was an empty lot, rough and very hard to drive on. But he said he would drop it in the back. And man I couldn't be more thankful. For the awesome customer service. And that delivery Man! He made our job soo easy. Pick them. They will take care of you, unlike the very rude lady on Acoma!

I heard great verbal reviews about Star Nursery but haven't been able to find out myself as I can only go on the weekend. On Saturday about 2:30 the fellow was closing the gate and we were told business was too slow to stay open and for us to come back tomorrow ?(?) By the time I got myself pulled together on Sunday it was about 1:00.
I decided to call first. Glad I did. No one answered the phone...not at 1:20 or 1:50 or at 2:15. Perhaps the posted business hours should include: If we feel like doing business our hours are...
