When I tell you I come out of the mountains to come to this place I haven’t been here since I was a little girl.. it was a little sketchy from the building but when I tell you the food and service is good good good.. I mean my money is well spent here they fill your plate to the rim and when I say 2 people can eat off one plate.. PLEASE BELIEVE ME !! This spot was on my list of restaurants to try. Easy to locate. You get to select items from the bar. Found that some items listed on the large menu displayed on the wall are not available daily. Some are only available on Sundays. People were welcoming and friendly. And make sure you have cash as that is all that's accepted. I didn't get to order anything as what I wanted was only available on Sunday. Maybe I will try another time.

Finally found the name of this place. Lol Been craving some soulfood but as a kid I always called it the pink store. We just knew it was in Ensley.😂 Best soul food in Alabama. Love the oxtails. Will be back.
