Sunset Nursery is a beautiful oasis of plant nursery that sells all garden related stuff. It’s located along Sunset blvd in Silver Lake neighborhood of LA.

They have all types of plants, pots,
bird feeder, plant seeds, etc. Prices are reasonable and competitive. Staff were helpful and hardworking professional.
Parking lot is very limited. Overall, it’s a nice nursery shop to get plants and garden related stuff. I recommend them.

I have been a customer of Sunset Boulevard Nursery for about 5 years. Most of the saff is knowledgeable, so if you are often frustrated with Big Box Store incompetence, try SBN. I always leave with something... Usually a unique cactus or small shrub that I haven't seen anywhere else. As far as plant inventory and selection-they have many succulent & cacti options, many herbs and annuals, and a decent amount of indoor/house plants. Also, I love all of the plant varieties from Australia and South Africa like Banksia, Proteas, Gravillia. Everything is priced at a premium here. For instance, the Cereus Spiral Cactus I purchased in Carlsbad last month for $65, costs $75 here.
They have an extensive selection of planting/potting soils, mixes, amendments, fertilizers; pottery & planters

I absolutely love this place! They have a fantastic variety of ceramic pots in many colors and sizes, which is something I don’t often see in other stores. The staff is incredibly helpful, and it’s clear that they genuinely love the plants. The overall vibes are just wonderful. Attached few plants with the pots I bought from here.

I recently visited this garden center looking for expert advice on landscaping and plant selection for my backyard. The service was outstanding! The staff guided me to a variety of plants suitable for my soil type and lighting. They even helped me design a custom layout that turned out beautifully. The quality of the plants was exceptional – healthy and vibrant. The prices were competitive, offering great value for the investment. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to improve their garden!

It's a great Nursery with calm ambiance. Workers can be hit or miss with level of customer service. Some are friendly and some don't even say hello or barely look up when you ask a question. Social Media presence needs work, they often misrepresent sales and plants meaning they won't be on actual sale and once I got sold a plant that was actually a different plant than what sticker said, although similar. I gave a 4 cause I like going there and the nice workers, mostly the older Hispanic dudes, are always friendly. Cheers.

They’ve helped us on my the plant & soil choices to grow a vine fence soil and their staff there was intricate help to us choosing right plant for our box size. They asked great questions I didn’t even think of. We would have purchased wrong climbing plant that would have eventually break-out of our 4 expensive custom built hanging planters (next time we’ll purchase 4 of the larger redwood boxes from you instead of building them ourselves & save $$ and time, then custom fit them to hang on our walls. On 8/27/2020: We Purchased more soil, plus: four, 5ft jasmine vines (to make a hedge fence as seen in photo), 8 flowering plants, 2 redwood boxes below the Jasmine and monthly fertilizer. We are so grateful we bought from Sunset Blvd Nursery and not from a big box store like Home Depot or Wal-Mart, their incapable of the knowledgeable customer service and the amazing array of plants and supply that Sunset Blvd Nursery has. They will always be our one stop shop when it comes to gardening, it’s supplies or needing garden advice. It is one of the best nerserias in Hollywood, they have all the plants that one is looking for, they have the best prices, apart from having a shop inside to buy from scissors, tools to grow your garden. and any type of fertilizers for your plants. very friendly people I recommend them and I will return

This place is dangerous. I went in just to look and.... 5 plants, four terra-cotta pots, a large bag of rocks and 50 bucks later 😅😅😅😅 the staff was great. The vibe of the customers was friendly. If you are into plants and want to socialize with some like minded plant loving individuals, I would so recommend this place. I went on a lazy Saturday afternoon after grabbing some coffee and just browse; also, they had so many pots and the prices were really good. I got so much for fifty bucks . I can’t wait to go back 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
