We showed up at 0600, our appointment wasn’t until 1000 but we were hoping to get unloaded early so that we didn’t lose our next load…. Husband goes to check in and the check in guy (JAKE) tells him ‘Well, your appointment isn’t until 1000 which really means 1100….BUT if you give me and my buddy here $20 each for lunch I’ll make it happen. Just between us’. Knowing that he’d make sure we were late for our next load if we didn’t pay his extortion fee, we sent him $$ on Cash App. Idiot. I don’t think he’ll do this again once I call Human Resources. Here’s his information - either beware of him OR know that he’s your guy if you want to get a door early.

Horrible experiences every single time we deliver at this Sysco…..4-7 hours to receive a full load .
Will be nice if their patrons whom purchase their products from them were aware of dirty and disgusting treatment to their carriers drivers bringing their food products. Just check the bathroom for drivers…

Appt 10am didn't receive a door till 1130 plus only port a potties for restroom...which sucks for being a female. Wish they had something else for us in the industry. I'm last truck here. 5pm now still not done...7 hours of waiting and a $427 lumper fee to take a whole working shift. hopefully I never come back here again. Plus you catch the workers just outside talking to the girls in receiving...guy was like it's unloaded but still checking it...update here again appt 11...didn't get door till 2pm...I only have 6 pallets. It is now 445 and still not done. I'm the 1 of 2 of the last people here once again. Plus I came had a door before the last 2 trucks

This is worst company have ever met I have checked in at 6:00am and I was at the dock waiting until 1:15pm. It takes to be unloaded 6 hours and 15min. They who was unloading was picking the boxes one by one he was very lazy guy. Also, you have to pay lumper fee $502. There is no night time parking but you can park on the road at the front of the company.

If your company doesn't want to pay your detention time, you in the wrong company. Waiting at this facility isn't the worst the thing that can happen on the road, and as a matter of fact, it wont be the first nor the last place that as a driver we'll experience. Make use of your free time driver, excercise (I know you need it), read a book, get some sleep, something man; life is too short and beautiful to be angry at a packing house. It sucks to say but its the bad drivers with the flip-flops that are the reason as to why facilities dont have a driver lounge, or decent restrooms. My appointment was at 0800, arrived at 0745, docked by 0810, and unloaded by 1143. Not the longest i waited ( 14 hours at Aldi DC ) But as long as you got something to do and getting paid for that detention, you should be home free

So grateful that out of this delivery the only reason why they get one star is the security guards were professional and courteous. Check in girl ehh so so she needed to stay at home with the attitude she brought with her. 1 pallet 2 hours and counting. And again so grateful as drivers that keep the economy going, that we get the opportunity to waste our precious time with over the top waiting times. Good day drivers

Walnut, CA /Appt at 8am. Driver shows up at 7am. Sent to park and wait for a door. Door assigned at 9:53 am. It's 12:51 pm and driver is still waiting for paperwork. How is this OK on your end Sysco? Worst offloading experience ever. Not coming to this place again.
Drivers be aware of this lack of interest for your HOS and your valuable work.
