Great working farm to visit and walk around. Beautiful hills and small hidden lake. Also has a store that sells farm products. We brought our leashed dog and she loved it! Will definitely be back.

Do you want fresh local meat and vegetables? Tara Firma Farms is the way to go. The farm is in Petaluma. I get a delivery every two weeks; whenever I get my box, I am so happy to cook fresh with locally grown produce!

The tour was insightful, fun and beautiful. Brandon gave so much information and his knowledge of the farm was in depth and enjoyable. I highly recommend coming for the tour and visiting their store.

What a lovely day! Amazing for animal lovers, with very informative farm tour available FREE on Saturdays and Sundays at 11am. Our 1 year old loved it and we were really impressed with the quality of life the animals have. We we definitely be signing up for the kids camps and the meat box!

Free tours at 11am on saturdays and sundays. The store has fresh eggs and pasture raised meat. If you are a farm member you can walk around for free anytime or go catch and release fishing in the lake.

A wonderful farm created from the awareness that farm animals deserve to live good lives, with dignity - in the open air, under the sun, eating healthy foods - before being slaughtered. Even as a vegetarian, I'm totally in alignment with this philosophy. They offer farm tours at noon on Saturdays and Sundays - a great experience for the kids, and for anyone who wants to know where meat comes from, and to see animals living good, signifies lives.

The farm is down a road with no or little cell reception and when we drove up the sign had “open daily” crossed out. We parked and the place was deserted with many signs. We rang the bell as instructed and after awhile a small dog barked and greeted us. A boy came out a bit after for the dog, but didn’t say anything to us. It felt like we were intruding on private property despite signage, and left.

Based on other reviews it seems like others have had a different experience, so make sure you call to make sure it’s open. Online times and dates are not accurate.

I don't get it. My husband and I went there on Tuesday. The "store" was deserted and looked like it hadn't been cleaned or used in years. There was really nothing to purchase. Dust and cobwebs were everywhere and it appeared vacated. We rang the bell and nobody showed up. I should have taken photos but I was a bit creeped out. We saw a beautiful but poorly cared for, matted, grayish colored cat that walked in after us but that was it. We left.
