The bouncy track and the nice morning vibe are great. The entry fee was a bit high for the morning, but it makes sense. It would be better if they made it easier to get a long-term pass since the staff didn't know how to help, and there weren't clear directions.

Well, it's a little oasis in the midst of Kolkata, not that kolkata is not green. It's much greener than most cities I've visited. It's just that, inside here in horticulture garden, you'll be met with God's beauty in its manicured splendor and then add to that, tranquility which is sparse in overcrowded and noisy kolkata. So, if you want your senses and soul to be soothed from jarring big city nuisances, visit here. But beware, it comes with a cost, in the form of entry fee, churlish and rude gate keeper as well as office staff. But then again, even moon has its blemishes!!! And rudeness, seems like a common trait in people who live here but hail from other states of India.

It's a private nursery situated at Alipore beside National Library. A great place for plant lovers. The annual flower show is must visit for all. This year Rose was main attraction for this show. There own rose garden is also a treat for eyes. They have one orchid garden and one xero garden. They also sell all gardening related supplies.

It's beautiful, calm and specially because of respected people as well. Good for long walks around the Garden. Lots of florality. Impressive maintenance but can be more improved. Gate keepers should be more friendly to newcomers.

A perfect place for plant lovers. Happens every year in the month of Jan. Mesmerizing to watch. Also, has a few stalls wherein u can purchase plants, pots, garden accessories, manures. But I felt they were a bit expensive. U might want to bargain. A nice place to get some exotic plants that u might have in ur list.

Best place for an evening or morning walk. The walking track provides a stretch of 1.5 kms a round. So it is pretty good. The flora and fauna of the property is varient and well maintained. If you want to run, brisk walk or just stroll amongst nature, then this is the place to go.
