Four for lunch. Definitely a place to come for the view! Food was good, but not amazing, and service was friendly and attentive. Shared coconut shrimp to start; garden variety that you can buy frozen from at the supermarket. Two had panko crusted ahi that was cooked as ordered (rare), one had fish and chips - fish was very good with average chips and finally a loco moco - eggs ordered over easy but what came out were hard over, but hamburger was good, as was the gravy.

Been there a few times and always had a great time. This time around the timeliness of service was poor. It appeared the bartender was slowing down the whole operation. The manager was killing it though.

Great spot for food and a sunset on the beach. The atmosphere is great especially when the live music gets going.

Edit: I went again on a Thursday afterwards and was left with the same service. Beer took about 30 minutes but it came out flat. I decided to go with a Bud Light. We finally got to order food, but he asked about my flat beer and disappeared. Once he asked for food order. We were delivered food about 30 minutes later, with no silverware. We ate our food cold due to waiting for silverware and enjoyed one beer before we left.

Every other time had been great but I’m not sure about the last two times

The food tasted like everything was cooked with the same old oil. The fish in the fish taco was dry / smelled not fresh and the taco was soggy. The firecrackers chicken was also dry and soggy at the same time. Kids burger came with cheese and meat with soggy fries… the view was great server was very nice but like most said it’s overrun by flies and pigeons. Just beware the pigeons will fly onto your table.

I am a huge fan of 604. Mainly frequent the Barber’s Point restaurant; however, today, as with other times I come here after diving on the west side. Today was a disaster. Sat at bar. The bartender, Shae, was busy putting away dishes, so I waited. Took about 5 minutes to be acknowledged. Ordered a Blue Moon and asked for a menu. Beer arrived moments later without the customary orange slice which I then asked for. She acknowledged and then proceeded to fill other orders. Waited about 5 minutes until I asked again. She completed the other service then brought me an orange. My menu was down and she never returned to ask me for my order. A new couple showed up next to me and she promptly greeted them and asked for their order. Still didn’t return to me. I waited, and waited. Finally came back. I placed my order, 604 burger with garlic fries. At 10 minutes later my order was delivered by someone who asked “burger?”. I responded yes, to which the plate was tossed down, got a couple rattles from plate until it settled. I tasted a garlic fry. Was disappointed that it was cold. Burger was good. Fries were crap. Had to wipe the grease off my fingers and couldn’t find a napkin. Shea had taken a break so asked another server who was very friendly and brought me napkins. I shared with him my frustration. He comp’d the meal. Unexpected but appreciated.
604 is typically awesome and the service is almost always spectacular. This was an anomaly that I hope doesn’t repeat.

This is the only restaurant I know where you can dine with a beautiful ocean view! Their now I has renewed and have a lot more of healthier choices! I had salmon appetizer and garlic fries and both were delicious, and how they cooked their tuna was also perfect for the burger. Highly recommended!

I was working at the time, so I came to grab a quick bite, i got it to go. From what I can see and experience, the atmosphere was really laid back with a beautiful view of the ocean. They also play live music for the beautiful sound of hawaii soul.
I can say that! I support them 💯 percent because they are a local company that gives you a different island vibe than your modern experience.

we love this place. perfect place to sit on the lanai with a drink or apps while my sun wears himself out in the water. very calm water right outside. live music and all around great atmosphere and views.

Delicious restaurant that serves American fare for the most part. Eat on the deck while just mere feet from the ocean. Service was very good. Food was great. Highly recommended!
