I love love love these people here. They treat you so nice. They make you feel like you’re at a five star restaurant. They sit you down, ask what would you like to drink, give you you options. They bring your food, ask would you like seconds. Not only that, they have produce that you can pick from, toiletries al well. They have frozen meals that they may give you. Real nice place. These are really nice people. They don’t judge you. They don’t ask questions. They’re just there to help you.

This place is the best! It doesn't matter if you're 100 or 6 months old you're welcome. The staff are so nice. They are non judgemental and so welcoming.

We volunteered to assemble lunch bags for the people experiencing homelessness. The staff were nice, welcoming to us and the homeless community, and answered all of our questions. I was so excited about what they are doing to help. I used to work at a homeless shelter and with that population, so I know the service they provide is beautiful, and it was rewarding to be able to help.

Love the corner table..Best place in town and they are all very patient with everyone and treat everyone the same ...awesome that them people take there time to cook and feed everyone like they do everyday ...They are a true blessing from God ...and the ladies and men in there can really cook...Gid Bless them all..and thank you all for mine daily...

This is a Soup Kitchen that helps serve the low to no income populace of the Newton-Conover area. The food is usually very good and the volunteers are very nice. The work they do is important and in increasing need, considering the state (& decline) of the economy. I hope people continue to donate to this wonderful place and that those donations allow these people to preserve their current level of commitment/care.

The best! High quality great food served by grandmothers! This is a soup kitchen by the way. It's really for the poor and unfortunate.But they sure could have fooled me because I felt like I was eating at "grandma's house".Male sure you arrive early.Seats fill up fast.

We like to go different places and meet people of all walks of life. The volunteers were very generous and the people dining were pleasant. And great food to top it all off. Will be returning.

June 28, 2016 was my first visit here. It will also be my last. A hateful woman was handing out to-go boxes. And sweet tea. I have progessed diabetes, so I asked for water. She refused and said she wasnt inclined to give me anything else. How rude! This shows me that these people do not care about the homeless population, and their well-being. Im not even homeless, but I still see how people are treated. This will be my last visit, like I said.
