We went on a Sunday evening and only had a 10 min wait to be seated at the bar. Service was speedy and the staff were friendly. We loved the Brussels sprouts with the tasty sauce that complimented the other dishes. Cornbread was cakey and delicious with the butter on top. The panko fried fish was tender and the fries were good too. The lava flow drink was tasty too. We’ll definitely be back

This is definitely the best place to eat in Waimea! The brisket Mac and cheese is absolutely incredible and you must get the Brussels sprouts as your appetizer. My wife got the brisket tacos and she loved them. We went for lunch on a Thursday and waited maybe 5 minutes. I honestly thought it was the best meal during our trip to the Big Island and is an absolute must-try!

We went on a busy Sunday afternoon and really enjoyed our meal. The food was delicious. We added our name to the waitlist after about a 15-20 minute wait just for the hostess to have a chance to take our name down (she was so busy!). We took our kids to play at the playground down the road while waiting 45 minutes for a table and they had a lot of fun. Unfortunately once we were seated we were next to a large, very loud group. We couldn't hear each other talking or anything the server was trying to say to us. We requested to move and they did accommodate us pretty quickly. After that we had a great meal. The food was worth the wait. I especially loved the Reuben Spring Rolls appetizer. If we lived on the island I would definitely want to go back! The place was highly recommended to us by a local we met in Hilo who said she and her friends often drive out for day trips.

Super great service. Jackie was incredibly helpful and genuinely nice to talk to. Not to mention the food was authentic and tasty. Stop by early when it opens to avoid lines. Yummy!

Very much enjoyed our dinner here back in late August while visiting the big island. Unfortunately they had some issues with one of their smokers that day, so menu was limited. However, we were still happy with the experience and food we ordered. Both the crispy ribs and the cornbread were amazing. I would recommend you to stop by!

We spent a week on the big island, and tried all sorts of food and restaurants during our stay. We found it hard to find an actual good meal, but look no further!
We had gone through this town during their cherry blossom festival and found this restaurant, and we are so glad we did.
Its a small, quaint, hometown vibe restaurant, with extremely friendly staff.
There was a bit of a wait, but dinner time was approaching so that's always expected.
The service was top notch, and the food was even better.
Their BBQ was super delicious, the fries are all hand cut, and the burger was juicy and cooked to perfection.
I wish we had more time here as we would come back in a heart beat again.
Id definitely recommend to anyone driving through to stop in and grab some grub.

This place was absolutely amazing! Everything we had was delicious and tasted great. I highly recommend getting the sampler platter and getting here early as it gets busy. The brisket is phenomenal. I really felt like everything we had here was micheillen level! Highly recommend checking this place out if you come to Kona.

Awesome food, and had a great ube drink that was really unique and tasty. Brisket was excellent, if you’re staying in Waikoloa, this is worth the drive to get better food than what they have in the resorts!
They run out of some stuff so better to head there early, you might have to wait ~30 mins for a table.
