This is a great place to go if you don't mind spending a bit extra and in return getting quality, lively plants of a wide variety and friendly, expert advice. The woman who helped me is a professional garden designer with lots of excellent tips, and the guy who loaded my car did so very thoughtfully and carefully. I will definitely come back whenever I'm looking for something special.

I was looking for a Hachiya persimmon around San Jose and couldn’t find one that’s healthy. So, I called around and this nursery had one which they kept in on hold for me. I drove down to check it out if it is healthy before buying it. Fortunately, it was healthy with branches growing all around. Leaves were large and green. There was even one flower. Price was lower than in San Jose which made up for the commute. I don’t mind driving extra 20 miles to get a healthy fruit tree since I will be spending lot more time planting and growing it. See updated picture after one year.

For landscaping in our backyard, we need lots of plants! I have been in many nurseries recently! Absolutely, The Garden Nursery was the top one! The staff are so knowledgeable, friendly & helpful! One of them saved me financially with wise advices & recommendations! They helped me pack the 15 gallon plants in my SUV with care! I would highly recommend them not only because of healthy & beautiful plants but amazingly patient, professional, and friendly staff!
