Kevin Gunter and his associate Carlos understood my vision of what I was trying to accomplish in my garden. I got exactly what I visioned and more. I am new at gardening, and they were extremely patient and kind. I have a new spark to see if I can someday have a green thumb and have a sustainable food forest. Thank you, Kevin and Carlos. I highly recommend them!

Come with questions, leave with a plan.

After hearing about this place from a number of folks for almost a year, we finally stopped by the Teaching Farm yesterday. I was blown away. Firstly, Kevin is a wealth of information, and a gem of an individual. His passion and experience for permaculture is infectious, and he is happy to share that knowledge with everyone. As a born and raised local, he's also uniquely familiar with the area's unique growing challenges (and benefits).

We came in with a high-level idea of what we wanted from our garden-- healthy, interesting and high-quality seasonal vegetables to supplement our existing diet. From walking, talking and grazing with Kevin, we fine-tuned our plans, and eventually left with some delicious souvenirs (including a lemon the size of my head), a bunch of biologically active soil to supplement our own, and plans to have Kevin come out soon.

Overall, I can't recommend the Garden Doctor Teaching Farm enough. It's a great source of knowledge for the hobbyist and experienced gardener alike. We will most definitely be back soon!

So much to share and learn about sustainable farming in Florida. Kevin is a wealth of knowledge and explains the disciplines well. His experiments with new fruit and veggies are amazing. Be sure to get a tour and learn more about what to eat and how you can control where it comes from. Thanks Kevin... Can't wait to get to know you better and share with friends and family.

Best teacher! The produce is grown with love & perfection! Had the honor of taking home some mustard and kale. Knew the plants were fresh and natural because the stems smelled like they already had seasonings in them! No place better!

This farm is totally amazing! Delicious fruits hang from the trees, white pineapple grows in the beds and rows of every kind of delicious, healthy and colorful greens and vegetables grow vertically and horizontally - everywhere. Even bananas in the trees! Organic growing solutions abound here. And soon, Kevin says you'll be able to grow your own food at home in abundance. Talk about beautiful food!
