First time visiting store today (9/17/2024). Greeted immediately by Patrick who asked if he could answer any questions. Super friendly. Store is not near me, but I saw they had the BEST PRICE for Fox Farms potting soil. Browsed the store and it seemed liked they had really good prices on their inventory, which was pretty large. I used to go to a hydroponics store in Montclair but they are out of business now. Will definitely go back for great selection and prices and a friendly environment. Check them out!!!

Stopped by again today. Patrick gave me some really good information on what I was looking for. No high pressure, only great advice on some options. If you EVER need any growing products or advice look no further. I just found out they have several other affiliated stores in different areas. I'm guessing they are just as helpful...check them out!!!

Ordered ushio 1000w hps single ended bulbs asked before buying if they were new, was reassured they were. I'd hope so they were new prices bulbs show up used so bad the mercury was melted in the bottom of bulbs all seals were broken the boxes look 10 years old and stored in a high humidity environment. I called got the run around nobody called back! Time to leave a bad review! Next step is charge back with my card. Shady business practices don't believe the reviews on their site fake as hell.

Update: I spoke with multiple people in your store and the manager who assured me he was sending a prepaid return label, and refunded my money. Any business that has completed a order has all the information from the customer anyhow. I've emailed countless times with pictures. I've given every chance possible. I've also left messages on you voicemail with no response to any of my emails or calls so your response is just plain silly!

2nd update: Just had to order the ushio bulbs from bulbstock in Irvine , CA. I've only used ushio once recently and ordered from them for a 600 watt version it wasn't burnt and used. Well the bulbs I received all 4 1000w are brand new and are the 2100 umole version that came out in 2017! This proves my theory that the used bulbs they sent me were at minimum 10 years old. They won't respond to any calls or emails bunk company. Bulbstock is a stand up company not the GROWERS DEPOT! Now I have to wait for credit card company to Duke it out with them how these companies are still relevant is beyond me!!

3rd update: The bulbs i received from BULBSTOCK amazing! They have a date stamp on them of current year. The bulbs from THE GROWERS DEPOT dated 2014. I tried putting one of the growers depot in and it blew in 3 mins.

The services are amazing and great. Great communication. Pat is knowledgeable and treats the customers like they are family. It was nice chatting with him about GOLF experiences and that he wasn’t trying to upsell me any items in the store.

This is my go to shop whenever I’m working on my garden. Pat helped my buddy and I with items we needed for our harvest. He’s knowledgeable, and friendly. Thanks for the rock wool, it helped my plants germinate at a high percentage rate as well! I will definitely stop by again

Howard and the staff at this location were excellent! We got amazing deals, wonderful suggestions, and great advice. I would definitely recommend coming and stopping by to see all of the products. They also are having a dollar raffle deal with prizes that everyone needs. I am so grateful to have come here.
