LOVE this store! Very well curated local products. As a resident, I find things here I don’t find anywhere else in town. And I’m introduced to things I wouldn’t be otherwise. This is my go-to spot for local produce. Wonderful humans with a valiant mission. We need more businesses like this one.

This place used to be one of our favorite shops, but we haven't been back because one of the managers was extremely rude, the one with very short hair. We bought a bag of avocados and once they were ripped, I opened up a couple of them and they were both bad inside. They look perfectly fine from the outside but are bad inside. So we went back to return all of them. We talked to the guy first, he seemed reasonable and told us that we can exchange since there was obviously something wrong with the avocados. He went back to the back stock for a little bit while we were shopping for more produce, then the short hair manager came out with him. She went behind the counter and he came to talk to us, now he said they couldn't do the exchange because it's been a week. Ok, I had to wait for the avocado to be ripped until I cut them open, it doesn't work if I cut them the next day after I bought them. Obviously he went in to check with the manager, and she said no. So we went to the checkout and tried to talk to her, she refused to talk to us and made this poor guy to be in the middle who initially tried to help us, but he also had to listen to her. What made me mad was not they wouldn't exchange the avocados, it was the rude manager, who does she think she is?! A store manager that doesn't understand what customer service is. We left the bag of avocados with them, left the store and never come back again.

I bought Savory Danish (Sondog bread)
SO DELICIOUS. YOU'LL find the them in their bread box at the register. I'm so glad I was brave enough to try one. Next time I'll buy more than one. They are worth sharing! Thank You Locavore. Aloha, Laura 🌺

Locavore has one of the best assortment of products if you're looking for locally made items and locally sourced produce and meats.

They have a great selection of unique and seasonal items and if you're looking to try new things, they almost always have something tasty and interesting. You can get ahi jerky here, vanilla beans, Mac nuts, hot sauces and delicious locally made ice creams. They also have a maker section with cards, jewelry, and beauty products.

The staff is super friendly and always so helpful and I have never had a bad experience here.

Amazing assortment of local produce, healthy packaged foods and local gifts and artists by localilians. You will not find anything here that is not local so don’t even ask lol. And if you are not local enter at your own risk. No but all jokes aside this is a very cool little store packed full of treasures. Team is super loving nice and filled with an abundance of aloha spirit. I had some of the most amazing local kava cacao in the island there. Was pretty splendid!

Very local, pretty original. It is my go to place for delicious organic "Family Farm" apple bananas. Ripe, full and firm. But they also have local beauty products, frozen meats and fish and even local granola, to go with local fresh fruits and veggies.
