We were treated to a very special tour by Fernando on September 5th, 2023. He really went above and beyond despite our special circumstances, and we thoroughly enjoyed learning about the chocolate farm and each step it takes for the chocolate to be made, from seed to bar. We even got to taste some samples of the two types of chocolate they make, and it was heavenly. It was such a treat to be able to catch a tour with Fernando and we want to especially extend our thanks to him for being so warm and accommodating. We were also able to purchase a couple bars to share with loved ones back home. All in all, the place is lovely and we highly recommend it!

We were lucky to have the owner, Bob, give us a tour of the farm. It was very interesting to learn about how they make single bean chocolates which are not commonly found. We even got to sample 3 different varieties of chocolate they grew on the farm. Highly recommend getting some of their chocolate to go and don’t forget to get some of their chocolate fudge sauce.

Very knowledgeable about Chocolate. From growing to tasting very rich tasting Chocolate. Easy walk and places to seat and hear about chocolate pods, beans, growing, drying, grinding, willowing, making into chocolate sauce and bars of chocolate! Samples were very good! We both really enjoyed this tour. The owner was an excellent guide and the forest around there was lush and green and it was so interesting learning how they get the cacao out of the fruit. It was amazing. Recommend 🌺

The shopkeeper was so welcoming! We caught her just as she was closing up for the holidays, but she opened the door for us and took time to tell us about their chocolates, accompanied by free samples. She even recommended I switch to a more popular item that was cheaper than the item I was reaching for, showing a remarkable commitment to customer service. After so many other chocolate tours where I was presented with a plastic cacao bean model, it was incredible to stand amongst real cacao trees, breathe in the moist smells of rich earth, and see cacao beans at every stage of ripeness, from delicate flowers to warm red pods. Absolutely loved this tour. Was so informative and at the right pace. Learning the process of how chocolate is produced at this farm was fascinating. Would highly recommend this tour.

We went on a tour of their amazing farm. It was extremely well organized and informative. They really know their chocolate!

It was more of a lecture style tour, rather than a walking tour. So don't expect to walk all over the farm. You get to see the cacao pods on the trees, see some beans drying, and they crack open a ripe pod. Additionally, you get to sample three varieties of their chocolate flowers. All of this while learning about how a chocolate bar is made.
