We were visiting Santa Barbara from Los Angeles and spent the day in the “Funk Zone” when we came across The Sando Truck. It was exactly what we needed after a night of drinking.

The chicken katsu sandwich was juicy with a great crispy texture, and the soft bread made it even better. It hit the spot as a late-night snack. The potato salad sandwich was light, fresh, and had a nice crunch from the veggies. It balanced the richness of the chicken perfectly. Both sandwiches were delicious, and I definitely recommend giving them a try!

Really good sando truck located right in the funk zone. Chicken and pork were both cooked perfectly without drying them out. The bread was soft and the portion size was great. I was also able to try out the Karage and really enjoyed the spicy mayo that came with it.

Had no expectations ordering from here but WOWWWW i was blown away at the flavor and texture!! The perfect snack if you need a little protein pick me up 🤤 the chicken sando is so flavorful and has the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and crispy. Definitely going back to try the other sando options.

My family has been local in the area since 1930, and I rarely leave reviews.

But I just had my first experience with the Sando Truck, and I have to say that it was awesome!

Nick and Jose’s food was amazing! They left an unforgettable new flavorful taste / twist on Santa Barbara’s waterfront streets.

Food was awesome, and served with a friendly and welcoming smile! It was even an honor,
because the one and only Miss Emi was there!

If you’re in the area, this is a must stop! Check out this local family owned business, and make sure to support them!

Super yummy! We loved it!! Simple, tasty and satisfying. Loved all the textures - fluffy bread, crunchy chicken and the sauce was so good. Potato salad was excellent too. Can’t wait to check out the new menu items!
