Quaint little neighborhood diner that has amazing American/Asian fusion cuisine. We noticed that there were several awards on the walls for their fried chicken, so we got the Chicken & Waffles and were not disappointed. Crispy and surprisingly juicy. I never like chicken breast since I always find it dry, but this was just as juicy and tender as their dark meat. We also got the steak tartare appetizer and the duck ramen and both were also great.

Everything here is so good!! All homemade and wonderful. The service was very nice, great outside seating, and great drinks. We loved the chicken and waffles, chicken and dumplings and the chocolate chip bread pudding!

I’d been wanting to try this restaurant for years and was really Becci to give it a shot. Food was delicious! Very good. Everything is made from scratch so it was fresh and great! Atmosphere was lacking. Very basic and plain. Nothing special. For a high dollar restaurant, I was expecting something fancier. Guess they really don’t need it. Also, menu seemed kind of limited with more unique items than normal. All in all, I’ll be back for dinner next month. Stop by and check it out!

We saw The Spoon Trade on DDD and had to try it on our last road trip to Disneyland. It did not disappoint! The staff was extremely friendly and the food was phenomenal! I’m still thinking about the Cheesy Bread Pudding a week later. And if you like fried bologna (even if you don’t like fried bologna) get the Fried Bologna Sandwich! The Spoon Trade has been added to the favorites list.

One of our favorite places. Food is inspired and very good. Fish is always fresh and fried chicken is amazing. Soup of the day was purple sweet potato. It was savory and slightly spicy. Very good.

We sat at the bar this time and enjoyed chatting with the guy working the bar. Good selection of beer and wine.

What a fun and unique spot! Their menu is small in quantity but large in quality! They have a nice range of items you might want, but they definitely have their own unique spin on it, and it is delicious!

We started off with their sliced sourdough, I could eat 10 of those! And for the main course we had the tri-tip and the chicken dumplings soup. Both dishes were packed with flavor, truly enjoyable from the eyes to the nose to the taste buds to the belly!

Atmosphere is laid back, very beachy- Bohemian. The Crew is so very nice and on top of it all around. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They serve beer and wine along with some Vermouth "cocktails". They do offer a kids menu that should pass the test by and large.

It's not a run of the mill menu, it's unique and fun and very well thought out, we definitely recommend!

Only tried the duck noodle soup. Very flavorful broth, good chew to the noodles and savory duck. Would go again if I’m ever in the area.

Doing an appetizer crawl up and down Grand Ave in Grover Beach, we got the Cauliflower Tikka Masala with Polenta and holy smokes was it good! The unusual combination of polenta with Tikka Masala was such a pleasant surprise. The Arnold Palmer was also fresh and refreshing. An unusual menu full of interesting choices. Nice to try something different.
