What a great spot! We didn’t expect to find such great coffee along our drive in the UP, but the google reviews suggested this place was worth a visit. Not only did we have the awesome coffee we were stopping for, but we also left with a loaf of sourdough bread and some green beans from a local farm (our review is a bit belated - this was a couple of months ago).
The owner was extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions of places we should consider visiting on our trip. Highly recommend stopping here!

A wonderful fun place, baked goods, sandwiches, ice cream, coffee, pop. If you are camping at the state park this is a gem to visit for a snack. They’re a seasonal business. PS, great coffee and brownies, Thanks Ellen!

What a gem! We were camping and found this spot but we would go out of our way to go here! Get a hot cinnamon roll or muffin. Great coffee. The hello Dolly cookie is amazing. Such a cute place with a gift shop in a vintage trailer.

This place is awesome. We stopped here this morning for a quick snack before hitting the gravel.

The reeces, and monster cookies were large, moist and delicious. The blue lemon muffin I split with my girlfriend was likely one of the best muffins I've ever had.

The owner wasn't there when we first got there, but the guy that was just opened the door and let us grab what we want and pay on the honor system. He did try to sell us some onions which I thought was hilarious.

Definitely worth the stop if you're in the area.

The Uglyfish Baking Company is a hidden gem on CR-407. It's run out of an airstream and has delicious baked goods, ice cream, food, fun merchandise and even a resident author! We come to Muskallonge Lake every summer and this place is a welcome addition. I love to take a loaf of sourdough or the jalapeno cheese onion buns back to the lake house to supplement meals. Also the cookies, muffins etc. are excellent. The monster cookies and the pumpkin chocolate chip are my favorite. My husband loves the giant blueberry muffins. It's made from scratch homemade goodness!

We were lucky enough to stumble across the Uglyfish on vacation and holy cow am I a fan! The baked goods are incredible, the eclectic art pieces for sale are amazing. We left we a dozen cookies the first visit, came back for more the second day and left with a piece of art the third!

If you are remotely close, make the drive. 100% worth it.

I stopped here on a whim after a day of rock hunting and was extremely pleasantly surprised. It's a very fun atmosphere with some great gift shop items and some delicious baked goods, including dog treats they make themselves. We'll definitely be stopping by again next time we're in the area.

The fact that there is a coffee and baked goods paradise being run out of a converted camper on the shore of lake Superior says it all. A destination in and of itself the Ugly fish is a completely magical spot. The pasty and sausage rolls were delicious. Getting a latte out here is a luxury I definitely didn't sleep on. Visited two days in a row and the owner, Ellen, remembered our names. Don't forget to check out the gift shop. Will return again every time we are able! Thank you Uglyfish

Vacationed in Deer Park and what a little treasure this place was. Had a mocha every morning. The nicest women in the north woods. Gave great directions, don't trust your GPS up here. The best blueberry muffin I've had. 8 hours from home and find out her husband graduated with my mom, small world. Thank you so much to help make our vacation even that much better. We can't wait to come back and see you again.

This place is amazing! Fresh baked good, ice cream, malts, shakes, souvenirs and wood carvings. Such a good variety of stuff and they have gluten free options if needed. A must stop if you are passing by, or even go out of your way if you're in the mood for a snack.
