Been wanting to visit this place for a long time. This place is great! Owner (Mike) is very knowledgable and friendly, along with co butcher Megan.

Got my Thanksgiving Turkey along with some venison, boar and hanger steaks.

Shop is immaculate and the service is very speedy. You can tell you're getting a higher quality of meat then you would at the grocery store but pricing seams fair and reasonable.

Selection of meats also phenomenal, with lots of options. I wish I lived local, I would be in there every week!

High quality meat, grass fed, sourced responsibly and locally when possible. Amazing friendly customer service. You can buy any kind of meat you want here, if they don't have it in stock they will order it for you, very good prices. They also have a rewards program, 10 or 15% off every 9-10 orders, and also have periodic sales usually before holidays like 4th of July or Memorial day, make sure you get on their mailing list to get the discount codes.

Almost $40 for 2lbs of beef liver is highway robbery. This company should be ashamed of themselves for charging more than filet minion for liver!! Never coming here again thanks for ripping me off!

They are wonderful. The meat is fresh and always antibiotic free. They are always willing to do special orders or help with new recipe ideas. For someone with lots of allergies, the Ventura Meat Company is always helpful and have an excellent selection. They always make sure that they provide the best quality meat to their customers.

Also, they are always friendly and care about the community in general.

Ordered a few times from here and it’s always fresh and delicious. On 4th of July I put in a custom order and was able to share with them the burger recipe I use and it was made to perfection! They are very passionate and take pride in their business, it clearly shows in taste and customer experience.

Ventura Meat Company is by far the best place for meat in Ventura and one of the best butchers I’ve been to anywhere! Every product/cut is top quality and I really appreciate that everything is locally and responsibly sourced. Plus the staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful! Top marks all around!!

Was excited to try out this butcher shop and was not dissapointed. Very high quality and a business that should be supported. It's not the least expensive meat you could get but if you want great quality steaks you should buy them here. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly.
