I have no idea who or what T.H.Y. and Associates is, but I do know that they import and distribute the best and simplest drain screens on the market from Japan. Searching for similar products on Amazon, Target and Walmart pulled up ineffective and inferior products.

The little metal strainers are available at Longs Drug in Kahului (not sure if they're sold at other locations) in the kitchen aisle. Available in two sizes (that I know of), small and large, they reside in both of my homes' bathtubs, washtubs and basins, and catch every piece of debris and hair. They're extremely beneficial especially with catching all of our dog's fur while bathing in the washtub. I like using them in our tubs which keeps creepy crawlers that may come up the drain and into the house.

The small size that's pictured with this review is a 2-pack that sells for a mere $4. They fit in drains with a 2" or so diameter. The large size wasn't in stock but they're good for 4" or so diameter drains.

OVERALL:
Lightweight and easy to empty out. When the screens get moldy I simple soak them in a bleach and water mixture and they come out like-new. Highly recommended!
