I was in Orange County for a business trip and had to drive through Los Angeles County after a 5PM meeting. No one wants to spoil a successful meeting by sitting in LA traffic. I figured I’d search for a local golf course that replicates the TopGolf feel using TopTracer technology on the driving range. Tijeras Creek Golf Club enhanced my short business trip, blending productive work with enjoyable golf, dining, and drinks. Instead of sitting miserably in LA traffic, I was at the Toptracer golf range in 10 minutes after 5PM. They have over 30 bays ready to practice your game. Toptracer Range transforms driving range visits, changing them from simple practice to an engaging experience for all skill levels. Real fairway turf provides true course-like conditions for players hitting golf balls. I played 18 virtual holes at the St. Andrews Links Old Course and the Angry Birds Golf challenge from 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM for $20. The commute from Orange County to LA County on Thursday evening was smooth and uncrowded after 8PM. I had a wonderful day of business, dinner, drinks, and golf. Thank you team!

A challenging track that has fantastic views of Saddleback Mountains, arroyos, deer, etc. Accuracy is key on many holes, so you don’t need a driver on every par 4. There’s plenty of tees for all skill levels and the practice facility is well designed. I’d love to play here on a regular basis…

We golfed here as a practice round for an upcoming tournament and wow what a gem of a place. The front 9 and back 9 are like two completely different golf courses. Back 9 is one of the more beautiful and fun layouts I’ve played in a while. You would never guess we were in south Orange County instead of the wilderness somewhere.

Only point of criticism was the greens were recently “micro punched” which you don’t exactly expect on the last day of May. But not the end of the world. Overall would definitely golf here again.

The Sunday Brunch is really good. There is an omelette bar , waffles and carving station as well as many lunch items and deserts. Kids under 6 are free. Definitely a good deal

Fantastic golf course. On the front 9, you can enjoy a beautiful course with residential views, while on the back 9, you can enjoy a course with canyon views.

Nice course layout, greens in good shape and rolling fairly quickly. Tee boxes could definitely use some love. For $140 a round, I expect a cart girl but must have had the day off. Majority of staff was friendly but on the turn the marshal gave us a word about keeping up, and we'd been on their tail all round. They were literally on 10th tee box as we were putting out on 9 walking back. Planned to hit the snack bar for food and drinks since none out on the course, but we felt rushed and just went up to 10. By the time we got the to tee box on 10 we had to wait at least 5-7 mins before teeing off which kinda dampened the mood a bit. All in all, a good course and worth a play, but plenty of other great courses with more competitive pricing. Felt stiff and uptight upon arrival in the boujee RSM, seems more of a local spot.

Beautiful course. But unfortunately what was supposed to be a fun day was ruined by lack of ample food (no burritos or real breakfast before 10 am) and an irritating and rude golf director and ranger constantly threatening to kick us off the course for being “4 holes behind on p.o.p”. Not only did we let a group skip us to help, but we were literally right up against the party in front. When the ranger came for the 4th time and reminded us AGAIN we said look the group is right there he seemed to imply we should be swinging on top of them from the fairway to the greens. Never been treated this way at many fine clubs even when there are tournaments/events happening. Somehow my group was able to salvage the mood the rest of the round once they got off our asses about P.O.P. Too stressful for what should’ve been a fun day of golf. Leaving 1 star for friendly bar service. Avoid this place if you want to actually enjoy golf without a rule book being thrown in your face absurdly.

Great golf course but read the fine print on the Arcis players club. They put it in tiny 10px font below the button you click to apply that it's only good through the end of the year. I paid full price for only a few months. What a rip.
