I am very disappointed and feel very disrespected. Today my daughter had a paid consultation/session at this establishment. However, what at first seemed like a pleasant experience turned out to be my worst experience. This session was paid for a week prior in hopes for joining and walking away with the things I was promised when I signed my daughter up. However, when the owner Soke started to break down the membership fees, I started to feel uncomfortable and knew “well I just moved to this state and have a few financial obligations to take care of before I could comfortably commit. However he completely disregarded my concerns and displayed lack of empathy. Instead of allowing time to think about the program, its fees, and locked in contract he skipped to directly telling me that he “Did not want my daughter to attend his establishment, because I was not signing up today”. What was even mind blowing is that the owner Soke, stated “No” when I asked if I would be able to come back at a later time once I take care of my financial obligations. I simply said ok and continued to walk away. Overall I am super proud of my action of choosing to walk away seeing that I am a single parent and being locked in a contract is something I prefer not to do ☺️💪🏾.

The karate instructor was very unprofessional and rude to my best friend. My God daughter was supposed to attend his dojo but unfortunately, he put my best in an uncomfortable situation. Also, the contract is unreasonable. He doesn’t care for the well being of his clientele and is only focused on making money. The contract will not allow you to opt out even if you’re having financial struggles. It is mandatory for you to pay the fees even if you stop bringing your child to each session.

I cannot express my gratitude to Two Dragons Karate enough. My kiddo has been attending classes twice a week for a year now. Mr Will is literally his hero and he looks forward to going every week. Mrs Perry is also one of the most amazing humans and is always willing to answer questions and help rearrange schedules due to our personal situation. My kiddo is focused, he listens better and he is so proud to be a part of the Two Dragons family .

My son has been attending this studio for a year and a half.

To start, I had my reservations on a studio that hooked us through the mall, but after having my expectations not met with others in the area first, I started to think maybe I just had the bar set too high.

The growth I’ve watched in my son over the last year and a half has been incredible. He begs to participate in anything this studio puts on. His leaps in the discipline have been invaluable- and I very much credit that to the dojo, his patient instructors, and the very well structured learning system Two Dragons has created. I feel like he is prepared for tournaments well, engaged and challenged.

I may not have the same political views or opinions as the owner, but I refuse to let that stand in the way of a well devised program- and that’s exactly what they’ve provided my child with.

If you have a kid that takes their martial arts seriously, this is an excellent place to choose.

I am super thrilled to have my child attend here and learn lessons that will last him a lifetime. Soke was very easy to talk to.
It’s very interesting watching him work with my child. He has knowledge that I couldn’t have gotten anywhere else. This place is very clean and organized. They have a very thorough lesson plan. I cannot wait to see my child’s growth. I would definitely recommend to any parent struggling with their autistic child.

Update 09/09/2025

I am extremely happy with this school after almost 10 months. It's everything a real karate school should be. My daughter is excelling in her growth and enjoys every minute she is in class. Mr Will is excellent with the kids. Soki is just what the kids need and is fantastic at what he does. And the parents are always kept in the loop of upcoming events and what's going on with their child.

Martial arts is a discipline and it should be taught that way. With a firm hand as well as aspirational teachers. This is a long haul dojo for us. We are very satisfyed with the results.

Origin review-

I have seen a lot of reviews by ppl that didn't understand you are entering a contract to attend here. Soki is very clear about that and also very clear about if you break the contract you will be sent to collections. I fully understood what I was signing up for. There is nothing hidden. Now my review.

I brought my daughter for the meeting with Soki to see about attending classes here. He is a great guy all around. I was amazed at how he interacted with her for someone she doesn't know. I knew right then this was the place for her/us. He sent her into the dojo so we could talk business. Pricing/days the classes etc. He was very clear and took the time to explain everything in a easy to understand way. And I understood that parents aren't allowed in the dojo during class. But you are able to attend the first class and see what it is all about. I understood this and had no issues with that as there should be no distractions. After all focus is what martial arts is all about. I fully knew what was expected of me as far as payment and days for my daughter to attend the classes. I was so impressed with him I signed her up and was very happy about it.

We came on our scheduled day and sat on the side and watched the lesson. It was just fantastic. I think I had a smile on the face most of the time. The instructor was amazing and you could just tell he understood what kids need to be successful. And I knew once she adjusted and leaned more of the order of doing things she's be right at home and excel. She fit right in with the kids in a welcoming atmosphere. They did many exercises and the instructor gave special attention to the kids that needed it. And praise to the ones that did it well as they have been attending here for a little while already. When then lesson was over we left and on the way home talked to my daughter about what she thought..she was very excited and loved the class.

She came to her second class and went in by herself as thats how it's done from then on..when she was done and came out she was very happy. We stopped at the store and when we got out of the car she began showing me some of the things she learned at her lesson.

I highly recommend this school. I have nothing but respect for it as well as Soki. . Straight and to the point as it should be..that's something missing in society in a lot of ways.

First day with Soke went great although he doesn’t personally train his students we’re excited to see how his class helps our very wiggly son. He does offer one on ones and seems involved if you reach out to him. In the hour and a half we had with him for our introduction our son amazed us with his focus and excitement to learn. Now with saying all of that we are open to his strictness and contracts he made very clear from the start. It does cost money, it doesn’t mean it will solve all our life problems, and it does mean we as parents have to try and stick with his strict guidelines. If you’re not willing those three things you will probably end up like the rest of the Karen’s who post negatively. It’s still a business after all and they do need to make their ends meat. As parents who struggle to stick to their guns when coming to discipline, we feel really good about doing the 6 points he’s created to help us. Haven’t had a class yet so not sure how the rest of the year will be. Just keeping an open mind that if you’re going to pay $3,000 for your child to learn, that means putting in the work to ensure your money is going to a good use. Read the reviews and read in between the lines of people who just want to drop their kid off and expect them to become this magical human. It takes work and dedication.

We started at two dragons Karate around November. We were hoping to focus on discipline and focus with our ADHD 7 year old.
We had about an hour or so meeting with the owner when we first talked about joining and we’ve never seen her listen as well as she did during that meeting.
In the months that have followed we have seen an improvement.
She loves it there, has made friends and we definitely see an improvement in her attitude.
It all came together tonight at her school conference when we mentioned to her teacher that she started karate in November and the teacher told us she has definitely shown improvement in her classroom with our her since she started.
Definitely worth the money.
