The most delicious shave ice! The texture is so soft and immediately melts in your mouth. So much better than a snow cone. The flavors are so authentic and refreshing. Every flavor we had was great, but the mango is a must try. Get the “Sunset Beach” with haupia (coconut) ice cream and snow cap - thank me later.

It’s busy, and the hours are limited, but that’s part of what makes it special. Ululani’s isn’t about rushing through—it’s about slowing down, tasting the flavors, and soaking up the Maui sun. Kids love it, adults rave about it, and by the time you leave, you’ll already be planning to come back.

While delicious, I personally think it is over-rated, largely due to price. $8 for ice with sugar syrup, I dunno. Maybe I’m just cheap.

If you’re into snow cones, this is better and next level, but i don’t really get it.

Our 1st ever Shave Ice.
I've been told by experts that the texture on this ice is perfect.
My flavor profile was mango pineapple, guava over macadamia nut ice cream. All the flavors were divine. Each had a very distinct taste.
The line was long, but it was worth the wait. Lots of flavor choices.

Good shaved ice and the ice is mostly soft, but there are some consistency issues . We went here twice and first time was great - and ice was soft throughout. 2nd time we went - both mine and my husbands order had pretty hard/chunky ice in the middle .

They also put the adzuki beans on the bottom the first time we ordered (which I think is the usual?) , but put them on top the next time we ordered

Popular combos like Sunset Beach or No Ka Oi are worth trying, especially with coconut ice cream and a snow cap. Expect a line, but the wait is worth it. Great spot for cooling off after the beach.

We had shaved ice in 10 well-rated places over 5 days and we were looking forward to this the most. Pros: I found the texture excellent. The crew is hard working and very polite. The place is right across Sugar Beach
Cons: Taste was extra sweet which masked the flavors. The service is extremely slow. There was a big line and it took forever to move. We waited 40minutes with only 8 people in front of us. The kids in the line were naturally restless and not happy. Not a good place to go to if you have kids in your party.
