First, we went volcano, hiking to get some hunger.

After that, we were sweaty and desperate for a good meal thank goodness we found uncle Jorge’s.

Mario was our server. He was a great server and knew all about the menu to make recommendations.

The kids had some loaded fries, which probably were not very healthy, but they seem to like them .

The Polk strip tease was delicious and had a crispy wonton for my mouth. Even though a burger and a chicken sandwich was ordered everything was devoured like a wolf on a bone.

Thanks, God . I would say this place was delicious and the noise level was a little bit insane my ears are hurting.

Meanwhile, it was fun to watch some people were doing crazy poses in front of the crater/volcano .

Great views. Cheese sandwich. Beer.

We stayed at the Volcano House and had dinner at Uncle George's. The waiter was very friendly and we were assigned a nice table for 4 right at the window with a nice view. We had Fish & Chips and the slow roasted Kalau Pig. All was wonderful.

Got stomach pain and nausea after eating here.

Ordered their signature pasta as they were out of pizza and there aren't any other meaningful options for vegetarians here.

Also their Caeser salad is a joke. It's literally lettuce with Parmesan on top and a slice of pineapple.

Friends ordered Chicken Katsu which was serviced with tomato sauce!

The waitress was rude and just ignored any requests for straws, water refills, or utensils.

The view isn't that great from here and is viewable even if you don't go to the restaurant.

This place offers a truly unforgettable dining experience. The breathtaking views of the active volcano while enjoying your meal are simply awe-inspiring. The food was equally impressive. The chicken wings were the best I've had in a long time, and the tomato bisque was also delicious. If you're looking for a memorable meal in a stunning setting, I highly recommend.

Not sure what all the bad reviews about staff and food quality were all about, this place was great! The Kalua pork was a good portion size and very flavorful. The view is amazing and the staff were very attentive.

I think many of these reviews are over critical for small things because of the high price point but don't factor in you are eating in a historic location with a view that you rarely find anywhere else in the world for a restaurant.

Chris was our server and he was amazing super friendly and always checked on us even in a crowded room! Flatbread pineapple and pork for the win! Larger than standard flatbreads! Perfect for sharing as an appetizer but also can eat it as a meal! My fiance got the Big island burger and that was awesome as well! We couldn't be happier. Thanks again!

So I will preface this with the fact that the volcano just so happened to be erupting, so I understand that there was a quite sudden influx of people coming to see it. We had a reservation booked for Dec. 24th at 7:45 we finally got to eat at about 9:00, they claimed that they would have a good view of the volcano from every seat but we were unfortunately sat in a seat furthest away from the window with a tree in the way as well as 2 other tables. We waited a long time for are food which was sort of expected but I was very hungry from the hiking we were doing all day. But when we got the food, there was still some things that were off: our rice wasn't fresh and, mine that came with the Asian barbecue Prawns, was stale and hard on the outside as well as generally dry and unpleasant. My father said that the noodles in my brother's food were overcooked and there really weren't as many food options as you would think on the menu. Our waiter didn't check on us after we got our food except to fill our waters and seemed distracted. My mom has some severe allergies and she had to settle for a plain salad because there was garlic and onions in everything else. Overall I still enjoyed the food immensely because I was very hungry and although there were some details that were off the Prawns and fish were excellently prepared. Still I would expect more attention to these details at such a price point and considering the restaurant is reservation only.

If I could award more than 5 stars, I would.

Easily the best place to eat in Volcano, excellent prices, and the food & beer was top quality. We had the Big Island burger and the Fish & Chips, followed by the Creme Brulee and the Chocolate cake, and I had two glasses of the Vanilla Porter. The only thing that was better than the food/beer was Eddie, our waiter - he was attentive, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. Top marks.

And of course, if you can secure a table at the window, you should - the view of the crater is stupendous, especially with the sun setting.

Overall, a highly recommended stop for any visitors.
