Tried raw honey for the first time and in my opinion its levels better than regular honey and sweeter too. They also gave my kids a tour of the honey making process and also let them try some honey straight from the honeycomb. They also let my kids pick their own fruit from their fruit trees in their backyard which the bees pollinate. I believe they also sell honeycomb wax that you can use to make candles or soap. this place is 100% legit and i definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to try raw or just regular honey as well.

On July 4th, we discovered that we had a Yellowjacket or bees nest inside the outdoor storage box where we keep the grill cover. To prevent my husband from removing it himself (if he did we would have made a trip to the hospital!), I googled beekeeper Hudson County and found Uncle Gordon’s Honey! Keep in mind bees must be relocated by law so a beekeeper is an absolutely must! I was surprised that I was able to reach the owner (it was July 4th!) and she told me that Pete would be right over. Within 20 minutes, Pete was suited up in his safety suit and all hands in. Turns out it was a yellow-jackets nest and not a bees nest so they don’t get re-homed. My daughter and I watched from a safe distance (inside the house) as Pete did his thing! There were tons of yellow-jackets that surrounded Pete. He has been doing this for over 30 years so this was nothing to him but we were pretty amazed! After Pete removed the nest and sucked up the yellow-jackets in the shopvac, he stayed for another 30 minutes or so to make sure he got all of them. He gave us a nature lesson about bees and yellow-jackets which was very interesting especially to this city girl. Pete is a lovely man and my husband and I enjoyed our time with him. It’s now July 7th and any yellow-jacket that came back (we expected some would return) quickly flew away to find a new home! Now I just have to remember that a grill cover is meant to be on a grill, not in a storage box protecting a ton of mean yellow-jackets!

I absolutely loved their customer service, Elizabeth went above and beyond for our daughter who couldn't leave the house without getting congested immediately!! My cousin recommended local honey on Wednesday and I researched it that night and purchased it the next morning online. Elizabeth arranged for us to get it that Thursday evening!!! She taught me how to administer it to our 2 year old daughter and checked on her for the next couple of days! I have never met such a loving and caring person within my first interaction over the phone in my life! That night after following her directives our daughter's congestion from the tree pollen allergy was released.. nearly immediately. It was released better than any medicine for allergies because we used that for a week without results before Uncle Gordon's Backyard Honey. We continued her regiment daily it's been two weeks and the results remain positive. Our daughter can play in the park without one tree's pollen allergic reaction.... I'VE BEEN TELLING EVERYONE ABOUT THEM...and the benefits of local honey from our area. Our daughter is only 2 years old and she reminds us to give her honey. It has been a life changing experience to see her congestion free...and I thought after her allergy screening that she wasn't allergic to Tree pollen as the test revealed because the spring came and we enjoyed the park without one problem all spring and summer long! Elizabeth educated me regarding fall allergies...I honestly never thought the leaves were falling with pollen on them from spring ( pollen actually floated and landed on the leaves from the spring pollen in the atmosphere). It was truly an enlightening experience. I learned so much about local honey through the heart of Elizabeth. Some people are just about moving a product and some people actually share their heart connected to their products and the legacy taught to them. Elizabeth shared the heart of the legacy attached to her father's heart and the love of honey he passed down to her with me and I FELT IT. I know her Dad is VERY PROUD OF HER AND HIS GRANDSON FOR A JOB WELL DONE!!!! KEEP UP THE AMAZING WONDERFUL WORK WITH YOUR LEGACY. YOUR BACKYARD HONEY IS THE BEST HONEY MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE EVER TASTED IN OUR LIVES!! IT'S FULL BODY FLAVOR..NOTHING WATERED DOWN... JUST ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL 🤤.

I am considering giving this honey to people as a gift.🎁 However, I wonder if it will only benefit NJ residents or only Bergen County residents?🤔 I have to ask Elizabeth?

Me and my husband went to Uncle's Gordon's Honey Farm this weekend. It was such an amazing experience. The owner Elizabeth showed us the bee hives and provided us with so much information. The honey is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! We also bought honey for our dog's allergies and he loves it too!
