Absolutely loved our experience here. We did the tour ($20 each) and really enjoyed learning about all the different techniques and technologies used in the very unique process here at Ursa Major directly from Rob. We got to try a little bit of everything including the fantastic canned bloody Mary and Mango daiquiri mixed drinks they offer.

It's about a $25 Lyft ride take it out that direction and while there weren't too many people at 3:00 when we did the tour, it really started to pick up around 5:00 and got very busy.

We love the history of the building and the fact that Rob and the team continue that tradition by having art all over the place and doing some kind of first Friday art thing (We just heard about that. We didn't attend it).

If we lived in the area we would definitely come here more often and buy their liquor!! I am not a person that usually enjoys Bloody Marys and the canned bloody Mary here was the best I've ever had.

Incredible! Came from California to explore Alaska and this has been THE BEST drinking experience. Beautiful art on the walls, incredible prices for great drinks, and a friendly ambiance. I have come every day since arriving in Fairbanks. Between Ketchikan, Anchorage, and Fairbanks this has been my favorite! Come to California Ursa Major Distillery ❤️❤️❤️ also if you love dogs I have seen a perfect precious one here every night! Don’t miss out 😁

An utterly delightful spot for spirits ou
N the edge of Fairbanks, Alaska.
Their Espresso Martini is strong without being overpowering, and the right level of sweetness.
They have a powerful array of drinks and specials available. Try the Akavit for something unique and herbal!

They also have incredible art on display and supplement their power usage with Solar!

Great little place with great drinks. I got recommendations on what drinks to order and I liked both of them. There was a bit of a wait because they are so popular but the service more then made up for it. I took several bottles to go. It is just too bad they are not open more days! So far this had been the best part of my vacation! Definitely give it a try.

A charming micro distillery filled with townie regulars (with respect) and elite staff (if Natalie is bartending). Strongly suggest the gin basil smash, but everything came up Milton.

Usually I just give whatever stars the place deserves, but this place and the people that work there deserve a loooot more stars. We did a tour and the wife of the owner started the tour. She was so nice and fun to be with! Rob showed up and all the chemistry and technical stuff was explained. He let us try all of his fine spirits and mixed drinks… he explained every single detail of the way he makes his spirits. What a fun time! Later, he poured us his canned drinks! We live in PA! We regretted not to live close by to have Bloody Mary for breakfast because my husband would love to wake up with BM from this distillery. After the tour we had an awesome time with the bar ladies! They knew how to mix drinks and make you feel like part of Alaska. I wanted to have more drinks and more fun time in this place but one of them recommended to go to some places for supper since there was a 2 drink max law.
