Bought their beautifully fresh tuna steaks and large scallops for grilling. We could not have enjoyed them more. The service was friendly and the butcher knowledgeable. In addition to fresh meat and seafood, the shop is stocked with wines, cheeses, chutneys, gift items, etc. Gift cards are available and may be used in either the butcher shop or the adjoining restaurant. A great addition to the Auburn community!

We go weekly, sometimes more. This is THE nicest place, staff are amazing, associated with the AU tigers and world class chef. Have had NOTHING bad. EVERYTHING is exception. Not A major retail “butcher” a REAL butcher. Part of the new culinary school and they need our help to get us out of fast food sometimes. Last order…whole trout. I am old, they tried to fillet it for me so hard but we grilled it like my Dad on Montana Boy and Girl Scout trips. It is not box store cheap, they will have or order whatever you need. Try it we need it on the University…Don’t want to cook- go upstairs to the restaurant and they certainly prepare food better than me! These ladies are here to stay and play! Don’t miss it ?

My husband and friend tried the place. My husband bought new York strips and beef ribs. The beef ribs were okay, steaks were not good, I personally couldn't eat it. They tasted old with a very funky strong flavor. We generally buy our cow and we know how fresh and aged beef taste like and it was definitely not the same. His friend bought quail and it was spoiled for sure, he had to return it. It is unfortunate and we are very unimpressed.

Today I bought a fish American red snappers it's really tasty, I have never seen such a big fish in auburn they are selling a big fishes and tasty, affordable price and hygienic place. Mr. Harrison, such a wonderful person, treating a customer very friendly.

I have had their oysters, scallops, and steak. They were all very high quality. They have a great selection of sea food which most places in the area don’t tend to have. Highly recommend.
