Beautiful place. Only a couple people inside the building, despite there being lots of people outside and around the visitor center. The two people working the store we’re not very friendly and seemed irritated. I overheard them placing bets on which customers would purchase something. Not exactly welcoming.

The art is beautiful and widely varied. It is great that is all created locally. Most things cost upwards of $100+, but there’s a small selection of items that are less. They even have some pretty handmade jewelry.

I wasn't able to go inside because it was closed but they have nice mosaic artwork on the walls. The tiles are in a variety of different materials. Worth a quick stop for pick if you're passing through. Bite sized cultural info just on the walls.

Tucked away in Volcano City, this hidden gem of a place is well worth the stop. A tour through one of the last stands of tropical rain Forest on the Big Island is an easy and most enjoyable walk with markers to educate and guide walkers. Monday mornings at 9:30 am a guided tour is available. Art displays are tastefully arranged with gift items. Beautiful local artisan jewelry, pottery, glass, carved items, and wall art available for purchase. The sculpture garden is lovely. Do not miss the mosaics on the educational center next door. They are amazing! A quiet place to pause and reflect on old Hawaii aloha. Welcoming, helpful staff.

This art gallery has an interesting crafts from various artists on the island. And they deserve more recognition and support so I encourage tourists to pay a visit and immerse yourself through the form of art available in here.

Costumer service ain’t that bad only two staffs available working when we came here and though I got few queries I wasn’t able to have some few answers coz they were busy entertaining others.

Overall, t’was a fun learning experience for the bandit.
