Get the map to navigate identifying 17 species. It's also helpful to make sure you see the entire garden as the trails are somewhat hidden in parts. It is amazing! Highly recommend! There is one particularly steep incline for those with mobility problems or strollers. You can just skip that one section of path. This garden is free to visit and has clean public restrooms. They also had a bird identifier key, but we only saw doves.

A nice place to see the beautiful plants and trees of the Hawaiian islands. So many fascinating plants. It is run by volunteers. Donations are welcome as there is no official entry fee.

Beautiful botanical garden in the middle of Oahu.

We spent about 2 hours walking around the upper terrace and sections of the lower gully. Some areas are closed and we couldn't figure out how to reach far east section that ends in a bamboo grove.

Regardless for being a bit lost and having some issues with the available maps (signs and downloaded images), we had a lovely time locating beautiful flowers.

The most unique flower was the golden beehive ginger with the reddish grooves. Amazing.

Upper section is walker, stroller, and wheelchair friendly. Lower sections are not recommended for those who might not like steep stairs and unpaved paths.

Note: Echoing the reminder for bug spray!!

Beautiful garden with well maintained walkways and ramps. Has a wonderful variety and a super helpful and friendly staff. Bathrooms are available, there is a small parking lot but we have never struggled with parking. Free parking, and free entrance, a wonderful way to spend a morning!

This is 3 of the 5 Honolulu Botanical Gardens. It is free. The Botanical Garden is like a Rain Forest & is beautiful. It has clearly marked paths but you can venture off into rougher type hikes. It is free .

Admission is free, which is nice, but be advised that the parking lot is very small. They provide a map but it wasn't much help. When you're on the lower level you don't hear the road noise and it's quite nice.

Nice smaller botanical garden. For visitors, it's probably not worth it if you don't have transportation. Go deeper into the park to get away from the street noise and it's very peaceful.
