Walker Farm is one of the things that make the warm seasons great here in southern Vermont. In spring we buy all our starts here. They have an amazing variety of garden plants and the staff is super helpful and friendly. Throughout summer we supplement our CSA with fruits and veggies from the stand. By mid-spring they also begin to carry a wide variety of local artisanal baked goods, dairy products and specialty products that showcase our local genius for excellent food.

If you're into plants, THIS IS A MAGICAL FAIRYLAND. I can't believe I've lived in southern VT for years and only now discovered Walker Farm. One of my favorite features is the grouping of plants by color and shade/sun preference. There is a delightful, low-key sense of humor that pervades the place. Also they have a lovely collection of planters/pots, some of which are priced more affordably than those at the giant home + garden boxstores! I think I'm doomed to become a regular.

I live right down the road and for years I have always wondered why it was always so packed there and told myself I need to see what the hype was about. Well, I finally stopped in and now I get it! It’s the most adorable little garden center! They have a huge variety of tree, plants, garden decor and so much more! You can tell they take really great care of all their products too! We bought 2 Japanese maples. They were on the pricier side, but you can tell the quality of the tree. We also bought all our veggies from them for the garden and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the products. Everything was very healthy and is thriving! Definitely understand now why they are always so busy! Will be returning and telling everyone!
