It's a decent Walmart. The only issue I have is ordering online. I often find that I've been given the damaged or expired items that won't otherwise sell such as a brown soupy nasty bag of salad or stale expired candy (see photos- ordered mid March 2025 expired Sept 2024) tortilla shells that I had personally seen in store a few days prior and handed to an associate to let her know they were open and hard as a rock yet 2 days later when I have placed an online order I received that exact package. And I knew it was that exact package based on how the package was torn. It was torn in a very specific zigzag shape and my daughter and I had joked that it looked exactly how she writes the z and her name. However, if you go in the store and shop it's typically a good experience.

Great trio! Had nails done by Lilly at DA VI Nails inside Walmart. Then after did my shopping. So convenient. Great Customer Service. Only issue was not enough Cashiers.

Staff here are super nice and helpful, and usually you can find someone without looking too long. Also, good to see that they have Dr Bronner‘s natural soap.

Standard Walmart, but it must be the Islander vibes, that one notices from being an out of Towner, more courtesy among shoppers, despite how busy it can be. Nice, clean, well organized and employees are all keeping stock of items. Very refreshing, with the exception, that many customers don't return carts to a cart station, but leave them elevated on the walking pathways or adjacent curbside. Lazy patrons, must admit and it's more than just a few that are at fault in a nicer development. Reminds me of a slum mentality, but with entitlement!

If you are happy to browse and find your goods - you will be happy here.
There were many 'Black Friday' deals when I was here, and it's a long wait to get some help. Busy, busy, busy!
But we eventually got what we wanted at a price we were happy to pay.

Convenient and Well-Stocked Walmart in Kapolei: I've been shopping at the Walmart in Kapolei for years, and it's always been a reliable spot for my everyday needs. The store is spacious and well-organized, making it easy to find what I'm looking for. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, although there are occasional long lines at the checkout counters.

One of the highlights for me is the variety of products available, from groceries to electronics and clothing. The prices are competitive, and I've found some great deals on household items and clothing. The store also has additional services like a hair cutting place, a vision center, and a garden center, which is very convenient.

Overall, I would recommend this Walmart to anyone living in the area. It's a great place to get most of your shopping done without having to travel too far.

Great Walmart location!
Lots of parking, beautifully built in Kapolei with quick and easy exits onto the main freeway in both directions.
Lots of inventory available and all the shelves were stocked! That was my favorite feature. I got everything I came looking for. Lots of cashiers working all the registers so check out was smooth.
If you need something, you'll probably find it here.

Staff here need to learn that the law is clear that I am not required to show my receipt on the way out the door as it is not a membership club.

Furthermore, they have no right to lay hands on me or my property, especially since they have not established any more than some kind of "suspicion" I stole something simply because I refused to show my receipt. This has happened on more than a few occasions.
