I recently planned a birthday party at Wax n’ Scent and had so much fun! The employees were very attentive and knowledgeable. Booking was seamless and we were allowed to bring our own wine and charcuterie. Jay walked us through each step of the candle making process and provided us with a wide variety of scents to choose from. We were even allowed to mix scents and add glitter and rose petals to our candles. Thank you so much Wax N Scent for helping to make my birthday so special! 🙂

My friend and I were in New Hope for the day and stopped by Wax N Scent Studio. The owners and employee could not have been nicer. They were full, but offered to text us when a spot opened. So, we walked around the adorable downtown for about 45 minutes, and got a text to come claim our spot.

It took a little over an hour to make our candles and pick out a scent. Then, we left them for about 20 minutes and returned for the finished candles. The entire experience was enjoyable, and we loved the finished products. There was also a group that booked a bigger table and brought wine and snacks. The studio has a great vibe, and this is a fun activity if you're spending the day in New Hope. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Wax N Scent Studio with my sister to celebrate her birthday by taking a candle-making class, and we had such a fantastic time! From the moment we walked in, everyone was incredibly welcoming. We had the pleasure of working directly with the owner, who was absolutely amazing. She guided us through the entire process with such enthusiasm and made it an absolute blast.

One of the highlights for me was when she allowed me to upgrade to a larger candle, which was something I really wanted. Of course, there was a small cost difference, but it was worth every penny to create a custom candle that was exactly what I envisioned. The decorating part was just as fun—we got to pick out dried flowers, glitter, and even stones with personal meanings, which made our candles even more special.

The absolute best part? We got to take our candles home the same day! I also opted for the wood wick upgrade because, why not? It’s honestly the most amazing candle I’ve ever had. I lit it for the first time today and, while I’m sad that it will eventually be gone, it’s comforting to know that I can always go back and make more. Plus, they offer candle refills, which is such a great touch!

A fun bonus was the option to have balloons for the birthday celebration—they even blew them up for us, which was such a nice touch. As a vegan, I was thrilled that we could bring our own snacks and wine, making the experience even more personal and enjoyable. My sister had a wonderful birthday, and we both absolutely loved the class.

I highly recommend Wax N Scent Studio for a girls’ night out or any birthday celebration. It’s a unique and memorable experience that we’ll cherish for a long time!

My daughter and I wandered in while enjoying the area and felt like we stumbled on the best local find. The host is warm and friendly, while still professional and knowledgeable. The store is just the right size, it is BYOB, and you have the option to pick from a few activities that meet various budgets too. And when we finished, we went for a bite to eat, and she texted us that our candles were ready for pick up. Same day. I look forward to coming again - what a great time. I'd even say it was the best moment of our trip.

This was a gem of a find today strolling through New Hope. My daughter and I had a great time and left with the best souvenir we could have asked for. We literally made great memories. The owner and staff couldn’t be more genuine and kind. An absolute must!
