I will never eat here again!! my daughter made a mistake on her order and they got smart and rude with her.. it was very raciest the lady saw I was black and she assumed I was coming to fight she took her earrings off I hadn’t even entered the store yet..during conversation the lady pointed her finger in my face the where yelling a being violent swinging at us. Followed out the store and still wanted to fight. You can never get my money again

The review from Helena Chappell is wrong!! This business is known for its great food and welcoming to everyone. Her daughter got smart with the owner and caused the scene. She just got mad where she received her smart mouth back. Don’t play victim Helena. As far as the racist comment go on somewhere with that. You obviously don’t go in there much.

Hidden gem in Montross! Reminds me of an old fashioned country store. Excellent and pocket friendly food cooked to order. Can't wait to try the chicken salad next visit. Johnny, the owner, is the sweetest guy and we really enjoyed chatting with him.

My bf and I both got breakfast here this morning and as usual the food was great! And Johnny Wilkins always has a smile on his face and takes the time to catch up a little. He is a really good guy and since he knows almost everyone in the county and beyond it always feels like visiting a friend. I eat there often and I have never had bad service or food.

This is the sweet guy making great sandwiches. We travel by the store when we go to my friend's camper, and stop almost every time. By the name and look of the store you'd never think to stop for fresh, made to order, perfectly put together food. His fried eggs and cheese is sooo good. The BLT with egg and cheese is a favorite.

The store closes at 9 but the kitchen closes at 8. Mr Wilkins can make just about anything you want. The menu has got all sorts of breakfast sandwiches (ham, sausage, bacon) and he's got chicken tenders, hamburgers, and the like.

Fantastic breakfast sandwiches! I can't speak for much else, but this place has been around for years and it's still great. There is a bar to take inside, so you can still down to eat it wait for your food. Process are very reasonable, especially considering the stack of bacon that comes on the biscuit.
