This was such an incredible time! I went with a bunch of ladies and even though I do not drink I had so much fun. We ride in a monster truck, enjoyed a hot air balloon, rode all kinds of unique rides. Adults and kids can have a total blast 💥 here. The food was phenomenal and the owners are very obviously committed to both excellence and fun. I almost felt like I was in Texas because they share our go big or go home mentality for sure!

Balloons and Tunes Awesome Event Nov. 2024. Very well planned event which is very family friendly. Beautiful vineyard and red wine we had was very good like a cabernet. The 10 or so hot air balloons were awesome to see and photograph. 3 of them launched what a beautiful site. The night glow of the remaining ballons was so cool. The bands and music were great and the second band really got the audience involved. Solid Musicians! Food trucks were a nice selection. We had the fish and chips very generous portions, light crispy batter. Delicious! Fun for kids of all ages with the tethered hot air balloon rides and Grape crusher monster truck rides. We will definitely go again. Suggestion, having a 2nd or 3rd check-in line for people who bought tickets ahead of time may speed up the check-in process.

My first visit to Wind Vineyards was to the monster truck show. They have worked tirelessly to create a welcoming and easy entertainment space. Very much needed in central Virginia. The drive from Fredericksburg (40 miles) was very easy and relaxing. There are two venues. The first one is the actual winery, then driving past it and around back is the event space. The ticketing online and at the venue was very easy. There were many interesting vendors and food trucks. Ample parking. But a bit of a walk from the parking lot. The walk is also through mowed fields, with uneven ground. I suggest good flat closed toe shoes. I suggest a wagon or stroller to move chairs or children. I attended with three little grandsons ages 4,4,& 11. This was a wonderful event for their age. The festival alone offered many kid friendly activities. A barrel train, pony rides, laser tag, bounce pad, a sluice water wheel, and many events to watch. There are a few bleachers, but lawn chairs are suggested. There is a tent awning section as well.
They have done a wonderful job, with Grape Crusher. A huge monster truck with eight safety seats in the back for truck rides. And it was an exciting fast bouncing ride. From the time you get there, all the food trucks and food stands are open for a day of eating. As well as the Wind Wine tent. I did not partake in wine, but anyone over 21 received an armband to identify those enjoying the wine.
What is the price you will pay for an event that’s much needed in our area. That would be my take away. The prices are steep, you are enjoying a wonderful show and the food is hot and ready and it runs for five hours. But you’re going to pay for it.
To the Wind family; THANK YOU!!!!!! Keep doing the awesome job you’re doing!!!
Suggestions; Signage, it was hard to figure out how to get the bags of gem dirt, where lines started, costs of each single event, Picnic tables, a well marked first aid tent, and more/better speakers in the bleacher area. I know all of these things are falling under growing pains. I look forward to seeing you at the hot air balloon weekend. Thank you for creating such a needed and wonderful event space. I absolutely love Wind Vineyards! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience and even family fun. They always have exciting events and activities going on. It’s not your average vineyard, but well rounded so your kids can also visit and and feel the excitement. Family owned and aimed to please! Visited for trivia night and had an absolute blast! The wine was amazing and the vibes were cozy/cute! Split the vidal blanc with my mom and my husband enjoyed the mulled wine (which was as equally as delicious). The food was just as great and honestly better than other wineries in Richmond. The buffalo chicken dip was the best! I love how many events Wind Vineyards hosts, if you don't enjoy trivia, they have PLENTY of other events to enjoy! Can't wait to join on another trivia night!

My husband and I stopped on our way by. So glad we did, we found some wines we really enjoyed and are taking home. Seemed to have a wine for all taste buds. The owner and the bartender were the nicest people. Very new building and very nicely done. Wishing them the best of luck for a very bright future.
