Terrible customer service attitude by the girl in the frozen food section. Asked her where the greeting cards were located, her response: “I’m busy putting stuff away.” Management needs to be aware of the type of people they have working for them.

Just purchased a package of boneless ribeye steaks marked sell by 5/14/2024. Today is the 11th....opened them as soon as I got home and they smelled a bit off. THEN I flipped them over! Blue-green meat!! It is ridiculous to have to go to the grocery store buy me that is well within the sell-by date and yet having to throw it away immediately because it's already rotten in the package! Things are way too expensive these days to be throwing away money on meat that should be good. This is not the first time I keep giving this a chance because financially it makes sense but putting my good hard-earned money in the trash does not make sense. Aren't they supposed to be the beef people? Pretty sad that this is what happens when you spend money on beef at Winn-Dixie. I feel so bad for all the people who are struggling to make ends meet and put food on the table that maybe actually consuming this because they have no other options or no money left. This is disgraceful! This has happened now at the Cortez Road location and the 14th Street location and yes I've uploaded photos

Place looks clean. But looks are deceiving. I purchased fried chicken for dinner, chicken stuck to the paper in the box. I purchased 2lbs of ground beef that went Grey after 2 days sitting in my refrigerator. I purchased fruit and vegetables that started going bad in 2 days. SO! If you are going to eat what you buy in a day, you should be good.

Great customer service.
Fair prices.
Not too far south of Aldi.
Not everybody sells the best of everything. Store placement is a great convenience.

First time shopping at this grocery store was not a good experience. I went to the checkout and was told I needed to download the app to receive the coupons which is reasonable. I spent 15 minutes at the front of the store downloading the app and setting up an account and then the cashier could not figure out how to use the coupons. I ended up paying full price and being sent to customer service to try to work out the problem and nobody ever came to the customer service desk. Out of frustration and after waiting an unreasonable amount of time I walked out and took the loss. I will never go back to the store again. I tried calling the store to speak to a manager and no one answered the phone.

I am fairly new to the area and so new to Winn-Dixie as well. I generally like the stores - I've used 3 so far. They have a decent selection and prices are less than Publix. This one is large, seemed to be well-stocked, prices were reasonable and there were plenty of BOGO deals to be had, and the woman at the register was friendly, so I asked her my usual Winn-Dixie question. The one piece of especially good news is that this particular store is the only one in the area NOT becoming an Aldi in the coming months. It will remain W-D. The others' shelves are gradually becoming more empty as things are not reordered before the changeover. This one seems fine - well-stocked and functioning normally.

Wish we still had more Winn-Dixies since they are much cheaper for the average Joe to shop at. And let's face it I think most of us can agree that Walmart may be cheap for groceries but it's always so crowded and I try to steer her away from there but we used to have a lot of grocery stores in Bradenton and now it seems like the only thing we have our car washes and storage units which I just don't see how that is stimulating our economy at all
