Nice to be able to walk around the house without the rooms being roped off. Despite visiting on a gloomy day the gardens were lovely and the cafe has a good selection of meals and snacks. The plant shop is a bit disappointing though. With a horticultural college on site I had hoped that some of the plants from the gardens might be propagated by the students and available to buy, rather than the brought in pots from outside Suppliers.
