I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Wrigley Memorial and Botanic Garden on Catalina Island, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The garden boasts a remarkable collection of plant species, many of which I had never seen before. Strolling through the diverse landscapes filled with unique and exotic plants was both educational and enchanting.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Wrigley Memorial itself. The architecture is outstanding—an exquisite blend of Art Deco and Spanish influences that stands majestically amidst the lush surroundings. The craftsmanship and design are truly exceptional, making it one of the best architectural sites I've ever encountered.

Overall, the Wrigley Memorial and Botanic Garden is a must-see destination. Whether you're a plant enthusiast or an architecture lover, this place offers a serene and inspiring experience that shouldn't be missed.

Catalina Conservancy does an excellent job.
From information sharing on hiking opportunities to keeping the hiking trails clean and safe, I am impressed with the work this organization does. Would recommend utilizing any of their services during your trip to Catalina Island!

Beautiful succulents and flowers all over. There are spots under trees for shade as well as benches. The views at the top in the monument are gorgeous. The copper door there was STUNNING! Admission is only $12 which is reasonable for what is offered. Active duty military is free which was amazing plus. There is a gift shop as well.

Very clean, attendant was very nice and explained the rules. She recommended staying to the left of the trail and boy was I thankful because it was definitely easier for going uphill. Mausoleum was beautiful architecturally, a beautiful site of rememberance.

The Memorial was very pretty, and you get a good breeze when you're up there, but when you're at the botanical gardens it's harder to get a breeze and it can get pretty hot. Reccomend going in the morning where it's less busy and hot. It's possible to walk there from main street, and you're not walking in the middle of nowhere to get there, but I took the circuit rideshare there. It's only 2 dollars per rider, and it's a short ride. The bathrooms are clean, and this very nice worker walks around and he's good to speak to about the memorial and gardens.

Price point felt incredibly high for what this is. I guess if you’re planning to hike all day on trails above the memorial, the price might be more justified, but $15/each for 30-60 minutes around the opening areas is too much. The “gardens” and trails seem to be neglected and the most flowers we saw were at the entrance and on the free street leading up to the entry gates. We had higher expectations for a botanic garden. We were here mid-July.

Beautifully maintained grounds, many rare plants. Clean restrooms. Nice gentle incline hike to memorial, stairs to top area of memorial, with great views to the harbor area. Beautiful tiles. Many small side trails to see different plant species. We also saw many woodpeckers.

The view was sooo great BUT it was not worth 17 bucks to enter. You see the flora/plants they had inside everywhere the island. But the scenic view was great!
