Very bad experience working with this company. I bought a whole house filter through the manufacturer and explained the make/model and location of installation to Wyman - I wanted them to install it. Setup the appointment and the plumber arrived. He arrived with an attitude and immediately stated that he had not been given enough time to complete the job. He reluctantly evaluated what needed to be done and told me that I need to move an outlet to complete the piping (which seemed like an excused to leave). Poor customer service and attitude.

We have been with Wyman Plumbing for more than ten years and have never had a bad experience.
We needed three items replaced in our bathrooms which included a cartridge in the shower water regulator and new faucet.
There was no way I was going to attempt to do this.
I am happy to report that Tony was amazing in how he went about doing what he knows best.

Called Wyman to reset a toilet and replace a flushing arm on a toilet. Appointment was for 10 on Thursday. Plumber arrived at 10:02 and left at 10:55. He sat in my driveway for over 10 minutes. I went out twice to find out why he was sitting in my driveway. He obviously was sitting there so he could charge me for an additional 15 minutes. This is dishonest. Parts cost around $25-$30 but was charged $70. Plumber did a good job, steep markup on parts, but totally dishonest about his time on the job.

Wyman Plumbing was professional and courteous throughout my project. From their sales and office staff, to their skilled plumbers. They showed up when they said, did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend Wyman!

Poor service and no shows are legendary in Long Boat Key. Wyman has blown that up twice for us. They were recommended for our sink install with new countertops and we called them again to repair 2 toilets. Even after 2 hurricanes, I was shocked to find that we were still able to reschedule our appointment to when we had water and power again. The receptionist was efficient and friendly and the actual plumber was proficient and quickly fixed our problems. I would use Wyman again in a heartbeat. Even in the throughs of two hurricanes, they remained proficient in their service and professionalism

Wyman was utilized by our GC for a bath remodel. On our new claw foot tub, they installed the supply lines with escutcheons that do not fit properly. They also installed the drain with no escutcheon. Simply a hole in the tiles with the PVC pipe exposed. After the work was completed, they told us that the escutcheons provided “did not fit”. When asked why they installed without first obtaining the correct fitting pieces, the response was “the lines are in the back of the tub and nobody will notice”. Completely unacceptable and unbelievably bad customer service.

Unfortunately I wish I would have read these reviews ahead of calling Wyman Plumbing. We experienced the same issue with billing for parts and time on the job was exaggerated with our plumbing needs. We were informed it would cost between $400-$500 dollars and ended up getting a bill in the mail a month later for over $800, went to the office to discuss and was offered to reduce the bill by 1/2 hour by Roger which would amount to $68. The plumber sat in his truck for over an hour on his phone, waiting for "glue to dry". My advice, have your arrival time and departure time documented and get a firm estimate before letting them start the job, make sure they are not putting in extra parts that are not necessary and that you understand all of the costs. Very sneaky. Sad to experience...

EXTREMELY RUDE ON THE PHONE. HUNG UP ON ME WHEN I ASKED THEM A QUESTION. WOULD NEVER USE THEM.

My reply: Agian my question was not about the price it was about the issue and the reason it failed but for some reason the lady on the phone kept telling me the price is not determined till after the service has been done.which I said ok. I then asked another question and she keep telling me about pricing. So I then told her I don’t think you understand my question, I don’t have an issue with price, I just want to know what the issue was and why it failed and your lady told me very rudely and aggressively to me “you don’t understand me.” The price is the and we don’t need your business and hung up! I do not think that is appropriate considering I was asking a totally different question that had nothing to do with pricing but if she would have listened to me she would have known I was not asking about pricing at that point in the conversation.
