Absolutely exceptional!

Xuntos has become a fast favorite of mine. With exciting shareable plates and creative cocktails, this combination is sure to wow your palate.

We recently took my mom for her birthday dinner, and the charming pink scallop shell theme was the perfect backdrop for the celebration.

We tried lots of different dishes and shockingly did not break the bank.

Two specials we tried where stuffed dates and artichoke hearts, delicious. The menu regulars we ordered were the jamon (do not skip this), garlic shrimp (you’re going to want to drink the sauce, so ask for extra bread in advance), squid ink pasta, arugula salad, and lemon/champagne/vodka dessert.

The drinks were also a delight, with the Calimoxto being the table’s favorite surprise of the night and the Gin Tonic a coming in a close second.

All in all we had a ball! Definitely proud to see this restaurant fairing well, in the often crowded Santa Monica food scene. 10/10 recommend.

I went here during the week for a late dinner. We wanted something more upscale than the Santa Monica Pier. And we found it! We ordered several different items to share and they were all really tasty. The stuffed peppers were cold which I was not really expecting but the flavor worked together and the fried eggplant was absolutely delicious. The meat dishes were also good.

We had the most amazing dinner experience here tonight! The staff were very welcoming, answered all of our questions, and were so friendly. The food was delicious and out of this world!! Each dish was so flavorful and left us wanting more. The vibe was also cozy and welcoming. Our favorite dishes were the anchovies and buttered toast and the ham + tomato bread. Would recommend!

The food wasn’t bad but just very average and nothing special, other than the little oyster amuse. (we did the tapas tasting menu). The servers were great but spread too thin.
The wine pairing with the tapas was excellent! And you could tell the host/sommelier had a passion for it.

Immediately in, the Hostess was informative and friendly. We felt welcome and appreciated. We had a cozy seat and ordered a few cocktails. The server was a great help when we were deciding what to order. The food came out quickly and was all quality and so, so yummy. We ordered more plates and a bottle of wine as we finished our first round. There were 3 of us and we shared and ate family style.
I did feel like the prices were a little high for the amount of food you get. But we thoroughly enjoyed the service, atmosphere, drinks and food.

What a treat to dine here! Airy European vibes with California colors. The shell wall in the main dining room is stunning. Staff is so kind and welcoming. We enjoyed anchovy pinxos served as an amuse bouche and every single dish after. Actually, we loved it so much, we returned to dine here for our last meal on vacation before heading to the airport.

We accidentally went to Xuntos last night and discovered that we loved it! The host and waiter were super friendly and helpful, not to mention patient with all our questions and our slowness to make decisions. The atmosphere and decor was cozy and both down-to-earth and elegant at the same time. Most of all, the food was fantastic! We loved everything we got. It was a bit pricey and also noisy in the dining room, but we'll definitely go back!

Returned to Xuntos for brunch after having a fabulous dinner in December. Was disappointed by the brunch menu, and especially by the uneven portions and pricing. We were served a salad which was just about 15 pieces of lettuce with chives and that cost $8. Overall feeling pretty ripped off—the pricing does not seem reflective of the quantity of food let alone the quality of ingredients. The salad was just absurd. I recommend going for some small bites as opposed to a full meal as the small portions with high prices may leave you very frustrated.
